*extra, extra long chapter! woohoo! my fingers are going to hurt .-. but im not posting their performance, only the winners.*

"so what song are we going to sing?" harry asked victoria, crossing his legs as he sat down on the floor of the chorus room. victoria shrugged, even though there was one song on her mind. the song she wants to perform is an almost haunting tune, it will hopefully leave the audience breathless.

"well, we should sing something that will capture everyone's attention." harry pointed out. victoria wanted to say it oh so badly, but at the same time she did not want to speak it. what if harry does not agree? harry could tell that she had something in her head, but just wouldn't say it. "go ahead, what's the song?" victoria's eyes went wide at his words. was it that easy to tell? was she that predictable?

"cold, it's by aqualung & lucy schwartz." victoria spoke, making a small smile come to harry's lips. he wasn't used to hearing her voice, and it brings him joy whenever she speaks the littlest sentence.

"can i listen to it?" harry asked. victoria nodded and took out her iphone and headphones from her pocket. she handed him an earbud and put one in her ear, searching for the song on her youtube history. *song on the side, if it works* once it was playing, harry was somewhat surprised at the beauty of the piano ballad. as soon as the lyrics begun, harry knew for sure that this is the song they should sing. it's captivating, and it makes you want to just sit down and listen forever. it was almost hypnotizing. when the female's solo started, harry looked over at victoria and watched as her eyes followed the lyrics intently. victoria was right, the song was haunting. and the piano in the background was the only instrument.

"victoria..that's the song." victoria smiled, happy that she has the chance to sing it. "how are we going to do that piano ballad, though? it seems hard."

"already covered. i learned how to play it a few months ago." harry nodded, feeling impressed. it seemed like complicated piece to learn. harry never knew that victoria enjoyed pianos. a lot must've changed throughout the years.

"then it's settled, would you like to rehearse tomorrow? my house?" harry asked. he wondered how his mother and sister, gemma, would act when they see victoria. he knew that his mother missed victoria, but he doesn't want them to question her too much.

"sure, i'll see you there. goodbye, harry." victoria said, picking up her stuff and placing her phone back into her pocket.

"bye, victoria." victoria turned and made her way to ashton, who was waiting by the door for her.

after school alice, ashton, and victoria walked to victoria's house. the twins agreed on waiting for her as she got her stuff for the sleepover. victoria walked inside, the twins sitting in the driveway. victoria's mother was sitting on the couch, turning around to look at her daughter.

"i'm going to a friend's house." victoria informed her mother. she let out a laugh, as if victoria said the funniest joke ever.

"hun, those words do not mix. since when do you have friends?" her mother asked rhetorically. "just go upstairs and get whatever s.hit you need. stay there as long as you want, unless their mom gets as annoyed as i do with you." victoria felt tears in the corners of her eyes, a lump building in her throat as her bottom lip trembled. why must her mother ruin such a good day? "well, go!" she raised her voice, leaving victoria to run upstairs and pack.

alice and ashton were in complete shock at what they heard. they thought that with how nice victoria was, that her mother would be the exact same. when victoria walked outside, her bag swung over her shoulder, she stood in front of the twins who tried their best to take the shocked look off their faces quickly.
