Chapter 13-

**Ryan’s POV**

I parked right in front of her house with my hands on the wheel. I didn’t know if I should just let Nick go and check for me. She hates me and I’m sure I’m not welcomed in her house.

“Dude just relax. Let’s go” Nick said next to me. Yeah, I’ve been here for the past five minutes but I can’t get myself to open the door and go up to her house.

But then impulsion got the best of me and I got out of the car locking it behind me and walking up the steps to her house.

Nick stayed seated in the car and I told him I would text him whenever I had already spoken to her.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

Nobody answered. I was about to knock again but someone opened the door leaving my hand in the air and raised in a fist.

I saw that her friend Cindy, was the one who opened the door. She smiled.

“Hey” She said.

“Hello, is uh, Tamara home?” I asked. Idiot, you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t know.

She looked at me suspiciously before nodding. She stuck her head out and looked to her right.

“You know, there is a doorbell right there” She said pointing to the doorbell.

Stupid.

“Oh yeah, I missed it” I joked.

She smiled. “I see”. “Uh, Tamara is not expecting you and you two are obviously not in good terms so, go ahead, second floor first door on the left” She grinned.

I like this chick already.

“Thanks” I said. She stepped aside and something clicked.

“Fuck” I whispered.

She just gave me a look. “I’ll be right back. I forgot something I bought her” I said. She smiled and nodded. I went out and Nick was outside the car with a knowing smile.

“I knew you would come back sooner or later” He said handing me the flowers.

“Fuck you, stay here” I said. He nodded and watched me as I went back to the house.

Cindy smiled and blushed. “Aw! That is so cute” She said.

I smirked. “Right. So first door on the left?” I asked. She nodded.

“CINDY WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!! (coughing) SHIT!” I heard Tamara yell.

Cindy rolled her eyes reminding me of myself.

“COMING!” She yelled.

“Go ahead, she can’t get up from her bed so, yeah” She informed. I nodded and headed upstairs.

Should I even be here?. Wait correction. Why am I even here?.

I took a deep breath and stepped in the first door on the left as indicated.

“Is about time you get he-“ She said but stopped when she saw me.

Her hair was in a messy bun and I could tell she was dressed in her pajama except that she had a loose sports bra on her.

Probably because of the bruises.

Her eyes went wide and she grabbed a pillow. “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?” She yelled throwing me the pillow. It hit my left leg but I didn’t move.
