Prologue
We hop into the car to take us to our rental house. Harry squeezes my hand.
“I can’t believe we’re here!” I say to him. He nods and I rest my head on his shoulder.
We pull up into a long driveway and Harry helps me out. The house is huge and right on the beach. He leads me inside. We make our way to the back room and I claim it as mine. Harry claims the one next to it.
“Callie.” He says collapsing on the bed.
“What?” I ask lying down next to him.
“Will you love me forever?” He asks.
“Yes.” I reply. “Will you love me forever?” Harry doesn’t say anything. He pulls out of his pocket a silver band and a black one. He slips the silver one on my finger.
“A promise ring.” He whispers. “I love you Callie. I promise.”
