Chapter 57

A/N: so their date was on Saturday and now it's Friday so yeah. alot of time flew by after their date so don't be confused. (pssssttt.. its after school too)

Luke's POV

Today, all my community service hours got pushed back a little so I didn't have to dash right out after school and I can talk to Avery a little. It seems like forever since I've been able to do this.

"Babe, can we stop and talk real quick?" Avery chuckles against my lips, causing me to smirk. I love how she's been calling me babe lately.

"But this is so much more better." I put my hand over her head on to the locker and lean in to kiss her harder.

"It is," She admits but giving my chest a little shove. "But it's going to be quick and then we can get back to this."

"Fine." I let out an annoyed breath to let her talk. There is no way in hell I'm going to let the gap between us get bigger though.

She keeps her hand on my chest before speaking. "So, we went on our first official date already, right?" She puts a lot of emphasis on the word official.

"Si." I speak and she gives out a little chuckle.

"Well, what about another date tomorrow night?" She bites down on her lip before continuing. "With Cammie and her guy friend." Her voice goes higher in hopes that I say yes.

I really don't want to do this shit but Avery seems to really want to. I don't understand the concept on going on another date with a random couple. It's just going to be awkward as hell and people don't really approve of my attitude which I know will be very strong around some random ass couple. I'd rather just have more one on one time with Avery since we barely get time together already.

"What do I get out of it?" I raise an eyebrow towards her.

"Hm, I can spend the night afterwards and we can.. do stuff." A red tint comes to her cheeks making me grin even wider. She seems so shy talking about sex but when she is doing it, she is a completely different person.

"Well, that will make me say yes to anything." I reply causing a smile to appear on her face.

"So you will go?" Her eyes widen up in hope that I will agree to this stupid ass double date.

"One more thing." I add on. I know I'm greedy but this has been really important to me lately and Avery just seems to brush it off whenever I bring it up.

"What?" She raises an eyebrow, afraid of what else I want.

"Let's go look at apartments Sunday morning." I deviously smirk and her face drops. I wish I could take it back but this is probably the only way I can proceed with my hope of getting out of this shit town with her.

"Luke, I don't know. We can't even afford an apartment and I'm not even sure about the whole plan." She looks down at our intertwined fingers. I lift her head up from under her chin.

"Just a few apartments, it will be fun." I try to persuade her. "They always have free cookies on the tours too." I chuckle and she grins at my stupid comment.

"I guess we can look but I really don't think we can just leave everything to run away."

"As long as we just look." I smile.

"Fine, so you get sex and apartment searching if you go to this simple double date."

"Then I'll be there." I smirk and whisper into her ear. "I'm really excited for that sex." And I can see the goosebumps rise on to her skin. I love how I do these little things and her body automatically responds fast to me.
