Madi and Charlotte were almost to the end of the valley when they saw smoke. "What the?" Madi asked. Charlotte began walking faster. "Why are you going closer to the smoke?" Madi began to run.
"My people might be in trouble!" Charlotte yelled. She ran until they saw a space craft that was placed on the ground. Madi smiled at it. The smoke was starting to go away.
"What are we going to do?" Madi asked Charlotte. Madi had never gone away from Polis. She never talked to anyone. She was always with Clarke, Raven ,or servants. Madi started to tear up.
Charlotte noticed Madis tears. "Hey." She stepped infront of Madi blocking the view of the space ship. "We will tell them about how we can be together. No war. Just peace."
Madi took a deep breath. "Peace sounds nice." The two laughed. Then there were noises of footsteps. A women walked ahead of a group of guards. The women stared at Charlotte.
"Your the one who was captured in Polis." She said.
Charlotte nodded. "Yes general."
The woman laughed. "And who's this," she nodded her head to Madi.
"This is Madi. She's the daughter of the commander of Polis." Charlotte answered.
"I came here with Charlotte for peace." Madis stomach pinched.
The woman smiled. "The daughter of the commander." There was a pause. "Lock her up." She turned and started talking.
"No!" Charlotte yelled. "That's not peace!"
The general turned back around. "I'm not looking for peace, I'm looking for power. Now take the girl."
Charlotte yelled. "Madi run!" Madi started to run when the guards came to her. Charlotte was pushed down by the guards. Madi could not run away in time.
She was pulled into a tie around her hands. She was pushed by the guards towards the ship and noticed Charlotte on the ground. She tried getting back up, but a guard hit her head. "No!" Madi started to sob. Charlotte lied on the ground with blood around her head.
Clarke and Bellamy were in a rush organizing guards to go out and search for Madi. Raven and Octavia came out into the hall where people were gathered. "What the hell is going on?" Octavia said walking to Clarke and Bellamy with Raven.
"Madis missing." Bellamy answered. Clarke looked down.
"She's thirteen, Bell. She's probably chasing butterflies. Why all this?" Octavia questioned.
Clarke kept looking down. "She's never been outside O." Bellamy stuttered.
Raven focused on Clarke. "No that's not it." Raven answered. Octavia looked at Raven. "Wheres the prisoner?" Clarke and Bellamy stayed silent. Octavia sighed.
"Well your not gonna find her with these lazy asses just standing here." Octavia reached for her sword.
Bellamy grabbed her hand. "I agree, but we can't go alone."
"Yea we can." Raven jumped in. "All four us are probably more coordinated than these fools." Raven whispered. Octavia nodded.
Bellamy turned to Clarke. "I'll go, but Clarke gets to chose if she's going." Octavia and Raven stared at Clarke. Bellamy held her hand. "Only if you want to."
Clarke nodded. "Let's go." The four left the tower. "Not to along ago Bellamy and I saw smoke across the valley." Clarke pointed to the valley through the forest. They were walking for hours across the forest. It had began to get dark.
"Time to rest. We will keep going tomorrow." Raven pulled out a blanket from her backpack. Raven went to sleep. Octavia went to sleep on top of the dirt. Bellamy put his blanket over her. Clarke watched him. He turned around and smiled.
"We will find her. I promise." He took Clarkes hands. Clarke shook her head.
"That's not what I was thinking about." Clarke smiled. She looked up Bellamys brown eyes.
Bellamy looked back at her and raised his eyebrows. He walked a little further away to a view of the valley. Clarke stood next to him. "In space." He began. "I tried counting the times you fell in love with me."
Clarke let out a laugh. "Oh really?" She smiled. Bellamy laughed and nodded. "How many times?" She asked.
"Well I started when you fell, and I helped you up on the ark. When I was throwing knifes, saved you from the bank, went out looking for Octavia, went to Polis, Finns death, going to the ark , saving me from Azgeda, the wedding..." Bellamy laughed.
"And everything in between." Clarke put her hand on Bellamys cheek. She put her forehead to his. "We should get some sleep."
"Anything for you princess." Bellamy whispered than kissed her forehead. Clarke and Bellamy lied down. Clarke watched Bellamy drift asleep. She was so lucky to have him.
Raven woke up and saw Octavia a few feet away. "What the hell are you doing?" Raven whispered. Octavia turned to Raven and shushed her. Octavia held out her hands and slowly butterflies flew onto her arms. Raven got up smiling. "Woah." Raven sighed.
Octavia lifted her finger towards Raven. The butterflies flew around her body. "They like you." The two laughed. Clarke and Bellamy began to wake up. Octavia waved the butterflies away. Raven was confused. "Our secret."
The four walked until they saw the space station. "We shouldn't go to close." Raven pitched. "Wait for someone to talk to us."
"I'll stand outside alone. You guys keep an eye out." Clarke suggested.
"What! No." Bellamy yelled. "You can't be alone , we don't know these people."
"First we see what they want and why their here, Bellamy." Clarke snapped. "Doesn't matter if we know them. Madi could be in there." Clarke took a deep breath and walked closer to the space craft. She was about 50 yards away.
The general came outside with two men behind her. She walked to Clarke. "You must be the commander of Polis." Clarke smiled and nodded. "I'm General Kara. We come Space Station Eligus."
"Hello. I do not mean harm to you or your people, but we suggest you move farther away from Polis." Clarke replied.
"Actually, we came here for Polis. If you don't mind, we will take it under our rule."
Clarke was shocked. "No. I'm sorry." She quickly responded.
"If you didn't mean no harm to my people why'd you prison one of our children." Kara demanded.
"She killed one of our men, but we accepted her into Polis." Clarke was loosing her patience.
"She was innocent." Kara replied. "Just like your daughter." Clarkes heart stopped. "That's okay because we only killed one of them." Kara laughed.
"You wouldn't!" Clarke yelled going closer to Kara's face.
"Uh ah, I have two men behind me who would take you down like that." Kara snapped.
"And I have a whole civilization who looks up to their Commander, so hurt me and you would never be close to getting Polis." Clarke spat.
"Hmm." Kara looked down then back up. "Let's be fun and play a game. If you give me Polis, then you get Madi back. If not, well than, she'll be with her little friend." Clarke squinted her eyes. "You have 48 hours. Good bye." Kara turned around and began walking back. Clarke felt her heart beating outv'e her chest.
