Raven walked back to Octavia's body. Bellamy was still admiring her, Raven knelt down on the opposite side. Clarke walked back with Madi. "I'm sorry." Madi stopped walking. Clarke looked at her confused. "I'm the reason everyone is dying." Madi frowned. "I just wanted to be a hero like my mom and dad in your stories."
Clarke grabbed Madis hands. "This was not your fault, do you hear me?" Madi looked up at Clarke. Clarke put her hand on Madis chin. " I am so proud of you for being brave." Clarke pulled Madi into a hug. "But next time you sneak out your ass better be worried." Madi laughed.
Madi and Clarke walked to Bellamy and Raven. Suddenly, a women with a sword walked to them. Raven picked up Octavia's sword and held it out. "Who are you?" Raven asked with tears in her eyes.
The women held out her sword. She had long black hair with an tattoo on her shoulder. "My names Emori." Raven looked at the tattoo, Lexa had one like it. Emori caught Raven looking at it. "Where is your Commander?" She asked again.
Clarke stepped infront of Madi. "I am the commander." Clarke said out loud.
Emori squinted her eyes at Clarke. "No, it should be Roan or Lexa-" Ravens eyes widened and she walked closer to Emori. Emori held out her sword further. Raven dropped her sword and put her hands up.
"You knew Lexa?" Raven asked with a smile. Emori looked confused.
"She's my sister." Emori said in the tone like everyone already knew. Clarkes mouth dropped. "Knew?" Emoris eyes widened.
Raven froze, she didn't know what to do. She turned to Clarke. Clarke took a deep breath and walked closer to Emori leaving Madi behind Bellamy who was still on the ground. "It's a long story, I invite you to Polis. I can explain there." Clarke tried to sound genuine and nice, but she was drained of energy.
"Okay, I can see your tired, is it because of whatever war was here," Emori swung her sword towards the battle field. Clarke nodded her head. Emori glanced at Bellamy kneeling down to Octavia. "Well than." Emori sighed. "Let's go." Clarke nodded.
Clarke knelt down to Bellamy. "Bell." She whispered. "We have to go." Bellamy looked up at Clarke. His eyes were red from crying. Clarke put her hand on the side of his face. "Come on." Bellamy nodded and got up. Clarke held his hand.
"Goodbye little sister." Bellamy bent down and touched her foot. "I'll miss you." He got up and began to walk with Clarke. Madi walked behind them. Raven observed Octavia.
Madi turned around. "Raven come on!" Madi said impatiently. Raven looked at Madi then Octavia body.
Raven looked at Octavia's sword in her hand. "I'll miss you too." Raven said nodding her head. She then started walking with Madi.
As everyone reached Polis, Emori brought to Clarkes chambers. Bellamy and Clarke were in there as she walked in. "Welcome." Clarke smiled, but it was easy to tell she was broken.
Emori nodded. "Where is Lexa?" Emori asked looking around Clarkes room.
Clarke took a deep breath. She felt Bellamys hand on hers. "She passed away, a little over twelve years ago." Emoris mouth dropped.
"What? How?" Emori was confused and hit by a wave of emotion. Clarke took a breath in. Raven entered with Lexas journal in hand.
"She was sick." Clarke replied. Emori was leaning against a wall with her hand on her forehead. "I'm sorry you figured out this way."
Raven walked closer to Emori holding out Lexas journal. Emori was confused. "It was Lexas journal, I haven't read it." Ravens eyes met the journal with a tear. Emori grabbed it with precaution.
"Thanks." Emori graciously replied. Raven nodded. Emori began flipping through the pages. Raven glanced at the journal. There was writing, drawings, and maps scavenged through out the pages. Emori stopped at a page. She turned it around to show Raven.
Raven walked closer to read it. "Oh my gosh." Raven let out a small smile. There was a drawing of a raven. Around the bird was a poem.
"I'm assuming you knew her well." Emori raised her eyebrow. Raven nodded. Emori closed the journal. "You'll have to tell me more about her."
Clarke and Bellamy were confused. "When was the last time you saw Lexa?" Bellamy asked.
Emori squinted her eyes at Bellamy, she felt threatened. She reached closer to her sword which was on her side. Bellamy held his hands up to show he wasn't a threat. "Show me to my room please, I am tired from my journey." Emori took a deep breath. Clarke nodded.
"I'll take you." Raven implied. Clarke nodded to Raven. As Raven lead Emori out of the room, Clarke looked at Bellamy across the room. His eyes were read from crying. She ran to him squeezing herself around him. Their bodies were glued together as the rocked back and fourth.
The heat of one an others body was felt against eachother. Clarke buried her face in Bellamys chest. They didn't need to talk, being in eachothers presence was enough. Clarke released her arms. "I'm so sorry." She cupped her hand to Bellamys cheek. Bellamy grabbed onto her arm putting his hand over hers. He nodded.
"Clarke." Bellamy whispered. Clarkes eyes focused on his brown eyes. "Let's go. You me and Madi. We can live by ourselves." Bellamy gave a slight smile. Clarke smiled brightly, but then felt a breeze out of a window.
She turned around walking to the view of Polis. "I can't." She whimpered staring out the window. She turned back around to look at Bellamy across the room. "I have to look after them."
"You have Emori and Raven, they will be here." Bellamy sighed.
Clarke shook her head. "I can't just give up my responsibility like that, Bell." Clarke marched closer to him. "We can live great here, we have food and protection why do you want to leave?" Clarke questioned.
"Because none of this wouldn't have happened if we never came to this damn place." Bellamy shouted. He was exhausted. Clarke looked confused. "Everything was great until Finn was killed, here!" Bellamy emphasized while pointing down and stomping. "I wouldn't have been caught by Azgeda if Polis didn't know about me, we could have survived on our own!"
"Their my people, your people." Clarke pointed to Bellamys chest. Bellamy shook his head with tears in his eyes.
"You are my people, Madi is my people, but these people." Bellamy walked to window. "All i see is pain and suffering, don't you want to escape from that?" Bellamy was out of breath from shouting. Clarke stayed looking at him.
Clarke had been through a lot, everyone had. "Your right." Clarke started to tear up. Bellamy walked closer picking up Clarkes hands. "No one should go through that pain, but leaving these people so they suffer, is not going to help!" She snapped pulling her hands back.
"Clarke I can't stay here, not like this." Bellamy confessed. Clarke shook her head. "What happened to the girl who would do anything to save me?" Bellamy asked.
"She died when you killed her mother and left her with a child and society for twelve years." Clarke sobbed. She immediately regretted everything she said. Bellamys eyes turned empty. Clarke could feel his heartache.
Bellamy wiped his tears off his face. He turned around and started walking out the door. "No!" Clarke yelled going after him. "Bellamy stop!" He was already out the door. Clarke ran to her bed to lie down and cry. Since when was life so hard.
