Headset's POV:
If only I could.
But I can't.

I thought about my life so far,
I don't seem to be... Happy right now.
I don't really know why. I'm feeling empty. Without someone? Ugh, this is getting on my nerves. I should probably just get on with what I'm doing.

Right now, I'm thinking whether to play a video game or not. Sadly, I got eliminated, but at least there's a computer down here with a PS4, and a few game discs.
Lemme see what they are..
There's... Fortnite, Horizon Zero Dawn and Overwat- and I randomly get taken somewhere else. Yay.

I open my eyes and I see Chocolate bar.
"Hi, Headset." He says bluntly.
"Oh, hi." I say half-heartedly.
"As you know, you are going into a challenge. Temporarily." He says.
It all comes back to me now, I was in such deep thought that I forgot we had a temporary challenge ahead.
"Yeah, ok. I remember now." I say

So I walked over to where the challenge is set and Hey look! There's my good ol' pal, Tub of Lard.

Yeah, his name sounds fat. And he is fat, but I don't care, I may seem like someone who cares about looks and money, but no. I'm actually quite the opposite of that, if I do say so myself, I'd prefer to call ToL a 'Best frienemy' because we used to be enemies, believe it or not.

Nowadays we share secrets, about others and us. Just because we're males doesn't mean we don't share secrets either. I mean, come on, every men has a soft side.

I walked up to ToL and said "Yo, dude, what's up?" He jumped for a second and then calmed down.
"The sky." He simply replied. He started smirking as I glared at his face. And then we both exploded into laughter. I ended up laughing so hard, that I started crying.

"Ok, ok, you got me" I said, pausing between laughter. Yeah, he has a type of Syndrome where he lies about the most obvious things, I thought he was being serious at first... But I guess it's just a Disorder. And I tell you about that.. Why? Because this is what he said next:

"No, I didn't. I didn't get you." He said.
Well, when he's lying, he can't really control it. It's like another version of him is coming out and making him say those lies. I can't really blame him, because not everyone on this world can be fully trustworthy. Everyone has at least lied once.

He looked at me with a confused face as I looked at him back. I've never noticed his eyes... They look so... Perfe-
WAIT WHAT WAS I ABOUT TO SAY??

No, I do not like him. I CAN'T.
He's... Not my type. And neither am I in love with anyone yet...

No....

Everytime I deny I love him... It makes me believe it less.

"Headset??!!" I hear my name.
"Huh??" I say, suddenly snapping back into reality.

"Are you ok?" I turn around and I'm faced with ToL right infront of my face. I turn deep pink.
"HOLY MOTHER OF GAMING PC AND MY XBOX 360!!!" I screamed, panicking.
"Um, ok?" He says.
I start inhaling and exhaling deeply. Making sure I have enough oxygen to scream again.

"Sorry, I was in deep thought." I explained to him. Should I... Tell him my feelings..?

"ToL... I... Have something, I've been thinking about, that I have to tell you."
I told him, building up the courage.
I used to be a female, which would be kind of weird. But it's not my fault I still have these type of tastes in my heart.

"Yeah? Go ahead." Says ToL, wanting to know more.
"I think I have a crush on you." I say, confidently. I usually don't stammer when I have something serious I need to explain. Or when I'm confessing something to someone. It's just part of being me.

ToL is speechless. Completely. He didn't see this coming, did he? I didn't see this coming either. Why would I randomly fall in love with my former enemy? Is it just me falling in love with enemies or are there others?
Sigh, I can already tell by his face that he doesn't like me back at all...

Unless...

ToL's POV:
"I think I have a crush on you."
Those were the words that made my heart skip a beat. I may say I don't like Headset in ANY way, but that's just my lying side taking place again. I seriously felt my heart scream with joy. I felt it leap in the air, and scream. And that's how I feel like doing. Just leaping in the air and cheering. But my body doesn't seem to obey. I stare at him blankly, with no expression. As I watch his face, speechless, he starts frowning with a sad look.

"Hey, I know you might not return those feelings but.. I just want to know how much you actually like me in that way. It can be as little as 0.001..." He says.

"What? I never said I didn't like you back!" I say, knowing what I needed to say to make him smile again. I mean... I can't blame myself, his smile could possibly light up the whole world.

Or maybe not... But at least it lights up my world.

"I thought you didn't because I caught you completely off-guard" He says, with sorrow in his voice.

"I was speechless because I already returned those feelings. I've crushed on you since the day I could remember. Even before we were official friends." I told him, trying think of better words... I'm gonna need a Thesaurus...

"You.. Really do like me back??" He exlaims with joy sparkling in his eyes.

"Yeah, I just hope you didn't mind dating an Obese." I said, chuckling.

"I hope you don't mind a Gamer yelling every night to 'kill the Boss!'" He says, and starts laughing. I laughed along with him.

I stop and look at his face. I then pull him into a kiss and he kissed back.

I can't think of anything better than returning a feeling of love.

The love that you get when you're in love.

Because he lights up my world.
