After a five minute power nap and regaining my energy I start deciding what I should do.
I decide that since I'm here already I should look for my father, so I was going to follow Lucas and the group.
Hiding in the shadows and stealing the scraps of food they leave behind, like a scavenger in the background.
I got to my feet and start to walk in the direction I came.
Once I found the tree I climbed down I turnd right and walk towards what I thought was where I came in.
I spied the cottage and made my way towards it keeping in the shadows and staying out of veiw.
I got to the house and scoped it out before going inside.
Will was gone and the Zombies where no where to be seen which made me a little anxious.
I quickly remove myself from the house and search the plains for any sigh of movement.
Judging by the sun I had been asleep for an hour. Not five minutes.
I couldn't see any sign of life so I retraced my memory for an idea of where they went.
**********
"Nick, how far away are we from your 'base camp'?"
"I Dont know maybe three more hours in that direction." he pointed in the direction behind me.
***********
I sat down in the spot we were sitting when he told me and imagined his hand pointing in the same direction.
I swivle around and map out an imaginary line that I will follow and start my treck.
I stay on the edge of the forest but I headed in the same direction.
*********
It had been around an hour and I still had no idea where I was.
The tree line, my only sence of direction.
As I walked and look across the horizon I glance across a peculiar structure.
It was tall and thin like a cell tower.
I left the tree line and made my way towards it.
************
~¤40 minutes later¤~
I finally got to the top of the hill which the cell tower was on.
The view from the top would of been amazing before the plague, but now it's just dry and hot looking.
I scope out the surroundings to find what path to take.
In the far distance I could see a blur of dirferent colours.
I squinted my eyes and could make out the outline of a clustered amount of tall buildings.
I'm going there.
I snatch one more quick glance around before heading back down the hill and towards the small city.
