(Heres Nick for y'all)
"Shit. " I whisper under my breath, but he obviously heard as he once again reveals his luminnesnt white teeth.
I snatch a quick look behinde me but there is no escape.
I was trapped like a mouse and Lucas was the cat
He took a step forward still smiling.
"Come on Sweetheart, let's get you back to bed, eh?" he outstretched his hand again to which I refuse.
He leads me over closer to the fire where the other men are.
"So, that's your fathers?" He indicated to the knife still held captive in my clenched fists.
I twitch my mouth sideways to indicate that it was a yes.
He smiles and takes my still tied hands leading me down to the ground. He gets another rope and ties it through a loop, tieing it to his own ankle before sitting down on a dark green camping chair.
I look up at him in confusion.
"I knew I couldn't trust Nick so I stayed awake. Your sleeping here now Sweetheart." his hushed voice was easily heard in the silence of the night. He winked and pulled down a gray beanie over his eyes that I didn't realise was there.
"You might as well go to sleep now princess, we've got a long walk ahead of us tomorrow."
I didn't want to obey his orders but I knew he wasn't kidding and soon enough I fell asleep at my 'masters' feet like a dog.

The harsh rays of the morning sun tickled my nose.
I scrunch up my face and open my sleep-infested eyes.
Embers from the deceased fire still glowed and stray bits of ash were tangled in my hair.
I sat up to find that my hands were still tied up but not to Lucas feet.
I scanned my surrounding.
Empty, only the remains of the fire were left.
I thought about running back to the woods but dismissed the thought as I realised that it was most likely a trap.
I just sat in my spot and waited.
A clattering of pots and pans could be heard from inside the cottage.
What?
I decided to investigate further.
I cautiously peered my head around the doorfame.
Nothing, existace seeced to appear.
I wandered further into the house making sure I wasn't being followed.
A flashback to a former memory of my father and I when I was much younger popped into mind.
One before the plague.
***********
The trees blocked out most of the beautiful sun but what little did, lit the forest setting a magical tone like one in a Disney movie.
My eyes scanned my surroundings checking for anything out of the ordinary.
Few birds recited there songs in the trees above my nine year old head.
One lone red velvet butterfly fluttered in front of my nose distracting me from my mission.
I retracted my conserntration back to the task at hand, finding my father in the 2,000 arces of magical forest around me.
