Who's Next?

The Third Killing

Abby's parent walked closer and closer to her. She stabbed Abby over and over again, until she was finally dead. Her parent's smile was unforgettable.

As soon as she was finished, she walked out of the house, into her car and left. Abby was dead, just like she wanted.

Again, the police were called, but they couldn't figure anything out. The other five friends started to get really scared and wondered Who's Next? They started talking more about the deaths and saw if they connected in any way or dis connected.

It was back to school but all there parents put them on EWIP, which means that they don't have to go to school, because something huge happened to their family. (it's not real)

Abby's family and friends cried and tried to figure things out themselves. That's all they could do. They talked to the police sometimes, but they never found out anything. It hurt everyone to know that their family member or friend just died and even worse murdered!

Nobody knew if it was the same person who was killing all of them, or different people, or really anything at all. The only murder that they came close to is Zoey's and that's because Haley was a few feet away from when she died.

"Would if the people who killed Zoey, Seth and Abby were planning to murder us too?" Haley asked.

Jason replied, "Yeah, but we have to wait out turn"

"That's horrible that someone has the gut to kill somebody" Maci said.

Pete started talking "I know. and now look at the ending, who really has to suffer."

Jake replied "We do. That's what they wanted"

'I wonder if anybody did something wrong"

"And now they are after all of us"

"Maybe one of us grabbed something or made someone mad"

"And now were all domed!" They all cried.

The next couple weeks went by slowly. There was lots of crying, sobbing, thinking, and wanting to kill somebody that hurt somebody you loved, but they kept it under control.

It was all very sad to see everyone, so sad and scared and quiet. Zoey, Seth and Abby were already dead. What was going to happen next? All the friends wondered. All five stayed pretty low and quiet about everything.

This was still fresh news. That Zoey, Seth and Abby all died. It wasn't only fresh, it was sad, scary and very very angry news.

"How could they? They took my son away from me! And your sitting there working on paperwork! Work on my son. He was just murdered but your life is still fine so you don't care" Seth's parent were at the police station saying tons of stuff to them. They were furious!

Nobody could be happy knowing that someone had murdered three teenagers and for the most part got away with it. The town was scared for their teens, knowing that three were just killed in one summer.

People were scared. Really scared: but not as scared as the other teenagers, they could be next. The town was still scared because they didn't want anything to happen to their daughters or sons.

"I think it will be me next" Pete said.

"Or me?" Jason whsipered.

"It could be anybody" Maci said.

"Or nobody" Jake said in a happy way.

"Or everybody" Haley said in a sad way.

"Well, instead of just sitting around doing nothing, let's go get this freak" Jake said.

"We don't even know who it is" Haley said.

"Or where he is" Pete said.

"Or if it's a he or she" Maci said.

"Or anything" Jason said. "Why are we giving up our lives because of a stupid person, or people." He was looking back and forth to everyone. "I know we all loved them, but there gone for good, and we will be too if we don't try."

They all agreed.

They never really ever did anything. Just talked about more things that could happen. They knew another one was going to go soon. But who? That was the big question.
