It was yours and Jack's one year anniversary. He decided to take you to downtown Chicago to walk around, visit different shops, and to stay in a nice hotel together. You were really excited to be spending your whole day and night with him.

You and Jack were walking through downtown, when you suddenly felt every single person around you. You thought you felt everyone staring at you and judging you. You were imagining what was going through their heads in that moment. Saying all the awful things about you that you've already thought yourself. You could have sworn that everyone was quietly laughing to each other because of how much of an embarrassment you are. You thought that your were probably walking wrong, that if they heard you, you were talking wrong, and that your face was doing something wrong. You felt like every single person in the world was looking at you and criticizing you. You felt your hearing go, the city sounds being replaced with ringing. Black spots were falling into your vision, and everything around you was blurry. You felt incredibly hot and cold at the same time. Your hands were tingling and shaking uncontrollably.

Apparently Jack was trying to talk to you because he put his face right in front if yours and said

"Were you even listening at all?"

He quickly got over it when he noticed the look on your face. He picked up your hands and grabbed them to try to stop the shaking. Even with Jack there, you couldn't get yourself to calm down. You were in a middle of a panic attack and there was nothing you could do. Suddenly, your knees gave out. He caught you and held you to his body. He carried you to the hotel, which was luckily only a half of a block away. When you arrived at your room, he sat you on the bed.

"What do you need right now, (y/n)" Jack said.

"Nothing. Just hold me please."

Jack held you as your breathing was frantic, and your mind was somewhere else. You couldn't stop thinking about all the people, and what they thought about you. You thought they were judging you because your whole existence is just one big failure and embarrassment. Each time you tried to push these thoughts away, it only worsened. You couldn't stop imagining everybody staring at you. So many judging eyes aimed right at you. You started to cry and Jack just held you even tighter. There for you, ready to so anything thing you wanted him to.

When your breathing finally slowed down to normal, Jack pulled away and brushed his lips against yours. He kissed you sweet and softly, yet passionately at the same time.

"I love you, (y/n). And if this is something we're going to have to deal with, I am fine with that. As long as I have you, nothing else matters."

"Jack thank you so much. I'm sorry that I am such a failure at life. It's just, my thoughts start going really quickly and I can't control where they go. I'm sorry you have to deal with me and my social anxiety. You are so amazing, and I love you so much"

"Don't be sorry, (y/n). You are perfect, just the way you are. I wouldn't change a thing about you. "

You kissed a little, and then pulled apart. You and Jack went out to a nice restaurant. With Jack's hand in yours, and his words ringing in your mind. You got back to the hotel room and fell asleep in each others's arms, feeling warm and cozy, not worrying about a thing.
