"Hey, Danny," I mumbled as I leaned forward to look at him. He turned his barstool and looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "That blonde over there has been giving you the look all night, maybe you should go over and talk to her."

Danny quirked his dark eyebrow. "Really," he questioned, a little sparkle in the brown eyes. God, it had been so long since he got any.

I rolled my eyes and looked over at Julian who was nodding behind me. "Yeah, man, she's been eyeing you up since we got here. You should go and talk to her... Dance with her... It's been a while since you got laid... You could use it," Julian chimed in with a small shrug.

"O-Okay... Are you two okay if I leave you here," Danny asked as he took the last sip of his drink.

"It's fine, Danny! Go have fun," I mumbled and pushed him off the barstool he was sitting on.

"Yeah, man! Go on! If you strike out, just come back here... If you're not back in like ten minutes, I'll walk Jess home. Don't worry! Now go on," Julian coaxed with a smile. He motioned toward the girl.

Danny sucked in a breath and nodded. "O-Okay... Thanks guys! Wish me luck," Danny replied as he looked down at himself and wiped off his pants so he looked presentable.

I shook my head. "You look fine, Dola... Just go before you lose your chance!" I pushed him away, and he began walking in the direction of the girl who was sitting at the other side of the bar.

He was walking toward the girl with a weird hop in his step. Go figure why he couldn't get any girls, especially if that was the way he walked when he wanted to impress him. Julian stifled a laugh from behind me and made me turn toward him. "Why the fuck is he walking so weird! You'd think the only girl he's ever talked to is his mother!"

I laughed and hit Julian in the arm. "Jules! That's your best friend! Why are you talking about him that way," I scolded with wide eyes.

Julian rolled his eyes and lightly shoved me back. "Oh shut up! Don't act like you weren't thinking that!"

I shook my head. "Okay, yeah, I definitely was," I shot back with a smile. "Hey! Look at our boy! He's looking good over there... She's smiling!"

"Yeah... She is... But like... I know he needs to get laid... But... she is so not his type... He's usually not into blondes," Julian quipped as he shook his head.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What is his type," I questioned as I continued to look over toward Danny and the blonde... She had her hands on his chest.

"The kind that doesn't pick guys up at bars... The last girl he had was actually laid back and wasn't all handsy," Julian responded. "It's been 10 minutes now... Do you wanna head out? Or have another?"

I glanced back over at Danny and the girl, and instantly felt sick to my stomach. He now had his hands all over her. I didn't know what it was... But I couldn't stand to sit there and watch the two undress each other with their eyes. "Let's head out," I finally mumbled as I downed the rest of my Kobel and Coke.

Julian nodded and left a ten dollar bill on the counter, before sliding out of his seat. "You didn't bring a jacket, did you?" He asked as he pulled his coat off the back of his seat.

I shook my head. "Nope. But it's like 45 out... And we've only got, like, five blocks to walk to get to my building... I'll be fine, Jules," I replied with a shrug.

"No, Miss Stubborn... You're taking this jacket. I'm already wearing long sleeves... You're in just a tshirt! You're going to freeze," Julian shot back as he thrusted his jacket at me.
