Chapter 17 - Valentine Lovers

Sakura's POV

Me and the gang walked up to the school field/oval (A/N: We call it 'oval' here in Australia) and sat on the seats. The rest of the contestants and fans came after. Tsunade went to the field with an olympic athlete "Hello Everyone, the name's Keita Atsushi" As expected of a young athlete, they would be good-looking and well-built. I looked to Ino, Temari and Yuffie who said he was pretty hot, Shikamaru woke up looking mad while Kiba kept bragging about how he was better and Kazuki, well let's just say he didn't care. Keita had really light brown hair and had eyes with the colour of chocolate. He was tall and was wearing shorts and a basketball type of shirt so you could see his muscley arms.

He called all the contestants and announced different ages, you could only verse people at your age and same gender. Sasuke was competing in the race, Naruto, Kiba and Neji as well. For the girls, Tenten joined me and Temari as well. Ino was busy looking at Keita while Shikamaru was getting jealous. I couldn't see Gaara so I looked over to Hinata and Kazuki who were cheering for us.

They called for the senior boys which were obviously Sasuke, Naruto, Kiba and Neji. Fangirls cheered while fanboys got jealous. The race started with Sasuke and Naruto in the lead, Neji and Kiba following. It was kind of expected that those four were the fastest, Sasuke and Naruto tied first place while Neji came second since Kiba was looking over at Yuffie who was cheering for him which made him slow down.

The boys got there prize, everyone in the crowd stayed silent for who they are going to choose for the kiss. Not many people in the school knew about the relationships in our gang. When I turned to look at Sasuke he was already in front of me, I was turning pink "I choose you Sakura, hope you enjoy Valentines Day" We both smirked and kissed in front of the cheering crowd. Fangirls crying but still cheering, I could hear Karin in the background getting on the ground and crying "Sasuke-kun, why didn't you choose me?" I rolled my eyes and continued to kiss Sasuke, our bodies stuck together, his hand on my waist and his other hand under my chin. My hand on his hair and my other on his cheek. We broke the kiss and hugged, I looked around seeing Naruto kissing Hinata, Naji kissing Tenten and Kiba kissing Yuffie. I smiled, today's a great day.

The next race started, it was the girls race for the seniors which meant my race. I looked over at Sasuke who gave me a wink before he left to join the crowd with the boys, I watched as he went and looked over at Ino who was holding a camera. I sighed, she's the gossip queen after all. I looked at the people I had to verse, it was Tenten, Temari, Karin (*inner* She's going to be easy to beat) and a few other fangirls. I looked in front of me seeing the finish line, I closed my eyes waiting for the Keita to shoot the gun. I started running at the same time I shot the gun, I was in the lead Temari and Tenten, a few minutes behind me and the fangirls, they were far ahead but I could still hear Karin insulting me. I won the race, Temari came second and Tenten came third by a second (A/N: If you wanted Tenten to come second instead of Temari, I was thinking about the chunin exams when Temari beat Tenten in the battle). 

Us three collected our prices which were massive teddy bears that were the cutest thing ever. We each got different ones, I got a teddy bear holding a heart saying I love you and it was also holding a card saying 'from Sasuke' I smiled. The teddy bear was light blue with a pink Sakura flower on it's ear. It had a necklace on it which had a heart locket that could open, on the front of the locket was S <3 S (Sakura <3 Sasuke or Sasuke <3 Sakura). I went to Sasuke who had a necklace in a shape of a key with S <3 S written on it "Like the necklace, I made it especially for you" He said as I nodded "See this key" He held his necklace and put it to my heart locket necklace and it opened "It means I'm the only one who can enter your heart" That's so sweet "Happy Valentines Day, Sa-ku-ra" He said "Happy Valentines Day too, Sa-su-ke" He gave me a quick kiss and someone shot the gun. It was a race for the fastest people in the grade to verse the other grades. There were two of them, one for the boys the other for the girls. Obviously me and Sasuke are forced to go in the race and let's just say we both won because were seniors.
