Chapter 18 - Valentines Lovers

Sakura's POV

I'm looking at myself in the mirror, I look like a freaking ballerina! I'm not supposed to look like that! I'm wearing a dress that ends just above my knees. It's strapless with a sweetheart neckline, it has a black sequin bodice, the bottom of the dress is 3 tiered making me look like swan. I don't mind looking like the girl from swan lake, I guess it goes with the whole masquerade thing. I grabbed my mask which was in the colour of black and white as well, I noticed that the mask was a swan.

I actually didn't buy this dress, it was delivered to my house from Sasuke's mother. I didn't have any other things to wear so I had no choice but to wear an expensive piece of clothing. I took my mask off and put it in my purse. I sat down in front of my mirror wondering what I should do with my hair, my mum came in my room and did it for me. My hair was put into a romantic bun (A/N: Like the hair Taylor Swift had in her music vid 'love story', it's such an old song but meh. Her hair is really pretty), some pieces of hair is dangling in the front. I really did look like the girl from swan lake.

I thanked my mother and we heard a knock on the door, I looked at my mother who said good luck. I opened the door and saw Sasuke in a suit. He looked so freakin' hot! My face was pink. He was wearing a plain white long-sleeve button up shirt under a black vest and also a black tie, his pants were black as well. We were both staring at each other in silence he broke it "You look beautiful" "T-thanks, you too but Handsome" We were both blushing. Then he pretended to be a prince like when we were kids "Shall we go my princess?" He said as he bowed while reaching his hand out to me. "Yes, we shall my prince" I said acting like a princess while taking his hand. We both started laughing and went to his car and headed to the school.

We arrived at the school and headed off to the school gym, on the way we saw Gaara and another girl that looked familiar. I looked closer and saw that it was Mayumi, the girl that tied with Hinata in the cooking comp. Her dress looked very victorian, it was in a red and black colour and ended at her knees. She looked like a doll, it suited her, her mask only had one eye hole, the other one was covered, it had two feathers in the side in the colour of black and red as well. She also had this adorable hat, it was small and was clipped to her hair. Gaara was wearing a black suit and a red button up shirt with a black tie. They looked like the perfect couple.

I waved to them and Gaara introduced me and Sasuke to Mayumi. We became friends, she looked so much like a doll. I wonder what happened in her past life, she seems kinda lonely. I'll talk to her tomorrow. We all went inside the school gym, it was amazing with all the Valentine's Day decorations. It didn't even look like a gym anymore, there was a stage and a runway. There were balloons on the ceiling, plenty of food on table across the wall and other tables and chairs. There was also a dancefloor and bunch of other things. I looked at the middle of the stage their were two crowns for the winning couple.

Okay, this is starting to look like a prom. There were a lot of people, we went over to a table and saw the gang. We started talking and eating, then Ino and Temari suggested we start dancing. I looked at everyone's dresses, Hinata was in an light orange and pearl dress that was high low, her mask was pearl orange decorated with an orange ribbon and a feather. Her hair was tied into a half updo and she looked like a princess. Her date (Naruto) perfectly matched, he was wearing a orange button up shirt the rest was black and his tie was the colour of Hinata's eyes. His mask was orange fading to pearl.

Tenten's dress fitted her perfectly, she looked like one of those pretty concubines. Her dress was high neck in red an gold. it ended just above her knees showing her perfect curves. Her mask was red and decorated in gold. Her date (Neji) was in a black suit, wearing white button up shirt and a red tie. He was also wearing a black vest and his mask was red. Temari was wearing a halterneck purple dress with ruffles at the bottom and a belt. Her date (Kazuki) was wearing black suit and a green tie. His mask was in the colour of temari's eyes.

Yuffie was wearing a lime green one sleeve dress, her mask looked like a cat in the colour black. Her date (Kiba) was in a black suit with a red vest, black button up shirt and a tie in the colour green. His mask was in a deep red colour. Ino was wearing a high-low baby blue dress, it was strapless and had a lot of ruffles. Her date (Shikamaru) was wearing a green button up shirt with a baby blue tie and a black suit.

We all got to the dance floor and slow danced since the music changed. Everyone was dancing with their dates, Good thing we were all wearing masks so fangirls and fanboys didn't know who we were. The moment was perfect, I was dancing with Sasuke and it reminded me of when we were kids. We used to dance under the cherry blossom tree and that was the first time he told me he liked me. The music stopped and everyone looked towards the stage and found Tsunade with a microphone. It was time for the voting, obviously Sasuke would win so most of the people in the school voted for him. The other winner, I'm pretty sure it was going to be Ino but for some reason it was me.

We both danced in front of everyone, there were fangirls and fanboys crying (anime style) and there were other people joining in. After a few minutes the music changed and everyone started dancing crazy. Me and Sasuke decided to sit out so we went outside to the school garden.

"Sakura" He said looking at me with a serious face

"Hm?" I hope he's not going to say anything bad.

"Why do you love me?"

"Huh?" Why is he asking this all of a sudden? He looked at me with his serious face waiting for an answer. I just smiled and told him why. "Because you're you, you've been with me this whole time and you don't give a crap what I do" (A/N: Sorry, I suck at this kind of stuff) I looked to the night sky and asked him the same question "Sasuke, why do you love me?"

"Because I know your going to stay with me forever no matter what" We both kissed and said "I love you" to each other. That night he took me home and stayed till I fell asleep. The next day I woke up remembering I have to meet Sasuke's dad. Oh sh*t!
