Hank McCoy: Blaze
The first suggestion was 'Firestorm', but Storm wasn't too fond of it and everyone understood.

Charles Xavier: Negative Zone (or Negative)
They were at first thinking something more like 'Negative Space', but they decided 'Zone' would be cooler.

Scott Summers: Vie
When pronounced properly in French (V-ee) it means 'life' referring to your healing abilities and your French background, but they usually end up pronouncing it 'v-i' like viking, violet or violin.

Evan Daniels: Chaser
You may not be a mutant, but they count you as part of the team (for some reason). The reason they named you chaser was because they though you'd just be trying to keep up with the other mutants, but you train you train really hard, so you keep up with them just fine.

Kurt Wagner: Tamer
You were named tamer obviously for your animal abilities.

Pietro/Peter Maximoff: Voltage (or Volt)
Hank thought it was appropriate for all your pent up energy. Not just for being a hyper 13 year old at the time, but also the electrical build up in your body, and the 5 other agreed.

Piotr/Peter Rasputin: Blossom
You loved making flowers blossom. You thought it was so pretty and fun to do, so when you got your name it just seemed right. Other also thought you still seemed like a kid blossoming.

Erik Lehnsherr: (Don't have one)
No way your older siblings are letting that happen, but you still get to do the kind of stuff Moira did. You just get to be called Iris, also people started making comments on your name and 'thing' or mutation being your eyes. You still thought they're so much cooler though, but you did find it kinda funny.
