This has to be the shortest poem I've written but it sends a message to all those people who feel they need to give up. Please stay strong we all go through dark periods in our life but we are all stars and without the darkness we wouldn't be able to shine.⭐
I won't give up without a fight,
I've had the darkest days,
The loneliest nights,
And all throughout I've never seen the light,
But today's the day that light shines bright,
It doesn't matter if you don't believe,
Come one come all,
Soon we will grieve,
For the ones we've lost,
But do our eyes deceive,
Have we lost at all,
Or simply been naive?
Because look to your heart,
You'll find them there,
The ones who came,
The ones who left you bare,
Without a sound,
Without our sight,
What do we see without light?
Because every star needs darkness to shine bright.
