"What do you mean mom?" I asked with a confused face.

"Wait let's sit down first." Mom said as the three of us sat on the sofa.

"So?" I asked.

"This is about the thing we talked about." Dad started.

"Well, first of all, your dad is handling the company well and it's in a very good condition right now." Mom added which made me more confuse than before.

What?

So how's this related to me?

This. Is. Weird.

"You have also met Anhee right?" Mom asked as I nodded.

"Well, Junseok, as you have known, is my bestfriend and my business partner." Dad added which made me nod.

Well, mom told me this already.

"And when we were younger we made a promise to each other." Dad said which made mom look at me worriedly.

A promise?

"They made a promise that their children would marry with each other." Mom said which made me break a cold sweat.

M-marry?

What?!

"W-what do you mean mom?" I said almost on a verge of crying.

"You'll need to get married to Anhee and Junseok's son." Mom sighed as tears flowed down from my eyes.

"Why? Why did you even make that promise?! Did you even think about my feelings?!" I screamed.

"We have thought about it Hyeonrin. Please just accept this marriage for our company." Dad pleaded.

"FOR OUR COMPANY?! YOU ONLY CARE FOR OUR COMPANY?! HOW ABOUT ME HUH? HOW ABOUT MY FREAKIN FEELINGS DAD?!" I cried.

Well, it hurts. It hurts that I can't even try to love the person I want to love.

I don't want this marriage.

I should think of something fast...

"Maybe you can learn to love him..." Mom said.

"NO. I CAN'T. IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE A BOYFRIEND." I quickly said and covered my mouth in shock.

Why the heck did I say that I have a boyfriend?!

Now, how do I fix this problem of mine.

Aishh...

"YOU HAVE A WHAT?!" Mom exclaimed.

I already said it, so I guess I need to go with it.

"I have a boyfriend and I love him!" I said.

"Well, you better let him meet us tomorrow." Mom said.

"Oh. I can't believe this." Dad facepalmed.

"Let's just handle this tomorrow. Okay?" Mom said as she massaged dad's back.

"Aishh!" I said as I ran towards my room and locked the door.

I just lied down in my bed and cried.

My heart is aching a lot right now.

I should be following my parent's order but there's something that wants me to disagree with them.

I sadly sighed as I went to dreamland.
