"Oh god." I said and started typing numbers into my cell phone.
"What's wrong?" Georgie asked while he was reading directions on a pizza box.
"It's been weeks since we got engaged and I haven't told any of my family yet I'm so forgetful."
"Hey Tanya!" I said as she picked up the phone.
"Hey Marie. Where have you been the past bit?" She asked.
"California."
"Why were you in California?"
"Sheldon Coopers wedding."
"Who?"
"The smart boy from Galveston."
"Oh right."
"JESUS GET TO THE POINT!" Georgie called from the kitchen.
"Who's that talking in the background?"
"Oh that's Sheldon's brother."
"Why is he there with you?"
"Because I got engaged to him." I said much too quickly.
"Uh congrats?"
"What's wrong?"
"You've been engaged so many times already damnit!"
"I'm going to pretend you said congratulations."
"Congrats."
"Is dad home?"
"No he's on a fishing trip right now he'll be back tomorrow."
"Okay well I'm going to go now."
"Bye."
"So how'd it go?" Georgie asked me as I entered the kitchen.
"She was surprised that I was getting engaged again. 'You've done it twice already'."
"How's she gonna feel about me? I have so many ex-wives."
"You do?"
"Uh yeah anyways not important."
I rolled my eyes playfully and looked at my phone again.

The next morning I woke up my phone ringing.
"Hey dad." I said.
"So Tanya told me you're engaged."
"Yup."
"Congratulations!"
"Thanks dad."
"They say that the third time is the charm."
I laughed. "I hope so."
