A/N we'll finally be seeing our lovers grow up a bit and enter high school...

Not gonna lie got a LITTLE inspired by Star Versus the Forces of Evil 😂.

I haven't even seen that many episodes either.

My dramatic writing is made evident in this.
....
Izuku POV

It was about two months into the school year when I came back.

The royal ball.

A grand entrance.

A few problems however...

One I wasn't ready.

Two I hadn't seen all of them in forever, what if they hate me?

Three what was I going to wear?

Not like any of this mattered anyways.

At least not like it used to.

Those trivial worries were the least of my problems, I still had to deal with him.
...
Time-skip to before the ball
...
I was the perfect warrior princess anyone could ever ask for...

Intelligent.

Brave.

Skilled.

Elegant.

The stature of a goddess.

Well-mannered.

But most of all obedient.

My father's favorite.

Just thinking of him sent shivers down my spine.

It left a bad taste in my mouth and made my stomach churn.

My heart beat would increase rapidly and sweat would trickle down my back.

My eyes would water on their own.

My vision would be distorted and my decision making would be compliant.

The chains of being a royal would hold me to the Throne.

The shadows of the numerous greedy nobles would slowly wrap around my neck and choke me.

White-gloved hands would hide the nail marks that were there from clenching my fists so hard.

I mustn't cry or else my makeup would be ruined.

Jewels that adorned my gown would weigh me down like an anchor in the depths of the deepest ocean , dragging me with it.

They simmered and gleamed like the smile of a demon, red.

A red gown with red rubies.

Oh how that reminds me of a certain someone.

Fake smiles would crack in secret.

Frozen tears that lay upon my face would absorb into my skin.

Two emerald eyes, broken gems.

They had lost their sparkle and majestic nature, they were dull.

One pearl necklace around my neck, like a rope tied tight waiting to be pulled.

Glass "slippers" clear, transparent so unlike my emotions.

One red bow that pulled my curls into an elegant updo.

In my time abroad my hair had significantly darkened from the cloudy skies and the constant enclosure at the academy.

Diamonds broken down in my hair sparkled like glitter as it caught the light of every chandelier.
