Izuku POV

I was so excited for my date with Kacchan until I was dragged from my shared room with Momo at two in the morning. I stumbled as a hand took my own and practically dragged me outside.

"H-hey..."

Finally waking from my sleepy daze I shouted a little louder.

"Hey! Where are you taking me?! What the heck—?!"

My mouth was covered by a petite hand and my mind had yet to register who it was. I bit down hard. The Midoriya don't mess around.

"Owwww..." cried out a small bubbly voice.

Uraraka.

"Uraraka? Is that you? What's going on? Where are you taking me at two in the freaking morning?"

We had reached outside and the glow of the street lamps illuminated her face with an amber hue.

She visibly gulped and shakily said, "it's your father..." she looked up towards me but never reached my eyes, "he wants you back."

A shudder went down my spine and I felt myself feel faint. I felt nauseous and wanted my fluffy unicorn Kacchan won for me or Fredrick the bear I won for him.

"Back... why?"

She smiled but it didn't reach her eyes, those same eyes that held unshed tears. She was going to cry. I didn't desire to know why. In my heart I knew. I knew there could only be two things he wanted from me. The same nightmare that haunted most nights was about to come true.

"They... he... wants to arrange your marriage now."

I clutched onto her forearms. My nails dug into her skin but she didn't even flinch. I was ghostly white now. Tears collected in my eyes and Uraraka brought me into a hug. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing.

"Why... why now? He-he promised I would have until the end of high school... why-why now of all times?!"

"I... I don't know Izuku~Chan... but things have gotten worse since you've gone..."

"Worse? How could things possibly be worse?"

It was Uraraka's turn to cry. She broke out into sobs and repeated the word "sorry."

I hugged her tighter and she winced.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Concern now evident in my voice.

"N-nothing..."

"Uraraka... let me be here for you... it's okay you can tell me."

"It's better if I show you."

She had tears trailing down her face and she turned her back to me.

"What? Uraraka?"

She lifted her long sleeve shirt up ever so slightly and even in the poor lighting I could see the harrowing sight.

"W-Who? What the heck happened?!"

"It was... your father issued me that punishment... but it was the executioner who carried out the task..."

The wounds were fresh long lines that covered her back. She had been whipped, not much but enough. No amount would've been fine.

"Executioner?! I didn't even know we still had one of those! I swear I'm going to murder him!"

She sobbed in my arms and I comforted her best I could.

"Uraraka~Chan lift your shirt."

"W-why?"
