I hate to admit it but working with Shocchan had really helped my control.

I just had to go to his ball made for marriage candidates.

When I told my father he was just so delighted and sent me a Cinderella looking gown, except this one was in green.

It's just for a little while...

It's not like I have to marry him immediately or anyone for that matter.

I'll admit when I'm with Shocchan I get a queasy feeling and I'm super happy.

I'm probably sick because with the way my stomach is churning I can't help but wonder if I've contracted a sickness.

Kacchan would be there too...

As would Iida and Momo...

And Kirishima...

It was curtesy to invite everyone of royal bloodlines and other lines of nobility.

I had failed to realize the time...

Literally.

We had had a hard training regime earlier and I thought that a nap wouldn't hurt.

Except it was now nine and I looked like something that crawled out of the sewer.

Sometimes having curly hair can really be a hassle.

I should've been on time...

This is not proper etiquette at all and when father finds out he'll throw a grade A tantrum.

I braided my hair after brushing the rat's nest out.

Well that Was after I went through five or so brushes.

I knew how to do my makeup so I did, this time I put on more than I usually would since this was a ball after all.

There was a box delivered and inside was a glass pair of emerald heels.

I scowled...

This was my father's doing and I hate wearing high heels...

Alas it's been ingrained into my mind that "beauty is pain."

This was nothing.

The ball was all the way across town.

I put on my black mask since this was a masquerade after all.

Surely he wouldn't care too much about appearance.

I wish I could say that things turned out swell...

I really wish I could've said that...

The thing was everything went fine, perfect, but it went a little too good for my liking.

I was now in the front ground of the best suited suitor.

I could say that I was whisked away in a carriage to the ball but I thought an Uber would suffice.

Well that's what I thought.

I called in a favor and settled for a sleek suave limousine.

This was no Cinderella story although some might have called it that.

I happened to be in the right place at the right time.

It was something straight out of a fairytale, I'll spare you the gushy and sweet details.

Shocchan had swept me off my feet literally and declared then and there I would be the perfect marriage candidate.

It was entirely uncommon to be married off young but have no official ceremony until later years.

Here's just one small snippet of that night:

"Fair lady might I have this dance?"

"Are you sure?"

"The question is are you?"

"Hmm... I don't see why not Prince Todoroki."

We swayed to the music and by the end everything was ruined well not really just turned the situation into something worrisome.

Endeavor/King Todoroki declared me to be a candidate among a few others.

My father ranted all about the possibilities thankfully forgetting the fact I was late.

After the ball a little while later (a few days)
...
"You know Izuku dearest we should host our own ball to find proper suitors for you."

"Then what'll you do when you find some?"

"Obviously limit it down although I really do prefer Prince Todoroki."

"Really? I have so much more time left why can't I just be a hero?"

"Cause you're not just a hero, you are my daughter after all."

"Sadly..."

"Be grateful you brat, your brother and sister will remain in your shadow as long as you live."

"How sad... but please... I don't want to have one..."

"You will whether you like it or not. I have a grand idea already! We'll make you live with the possible suitors!"

"WHAT?! I'm so lost..."

"Suitor number one is Prince Todoroki. It's decided! We'll have the ball within a month's time."

"Great..."

Back at school
...
I can't catch a break.

In a month...

In a month I'll be living with my possible marriage suitors... alone... by myself... and all of them...

All Might~Sensei had really encouraged me to follow after my dreams though...

He also mentioned a possibility of getting a 'surprise' if I really put my efforts into my training.

My quirk is still unstable but I've had more one on one time with him.

Why is life so complicated!?
