I wake up with a painful headache.
Weak.
"Wait, what? Who said that?" I ask.
You are so dumb. Figure it out yourself.
"Hello?" I say.
Dumb.
Maybe my brain is messing with me. I had a restless sleep last night.
I get up and get ready for school.
When I get to school, Raine and Carey come up to me.
You're going to get mauled.
"Is it true? Did Markus reject you?" Raine asks.
"Did you like him?" Carey also asks.
He only dated you out of pity.
"Yeah." I answer.
Give them a better answer, you half-brained pig.
Raine and Carey instantly just start walking away, whispering to each other.
Imagine all the bad things they're saying about you right now. Because Markus thinks you're ugly.
Oh no. This is because I was a rejected crush. No, no, no...
This was really bad, but what could I do about it?
"Aquarius, are you alright?"
Caden walks up to me.
I am not in the mood for people right now. Especially not him.
"Yeah, just great." I respond sarcastically.
"Listen, uh..I'm sorry. Yeah. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that stuff...that I said." Caden apologizes.
Him apologizing for your personality? Tsk. You're pathetic.
I can't believe what I'm hearing. Maybe it's the fact that I have a random voice in my head. Or that Caden, of all people, is apologizing to me.
I blink a few times, convinced that I'm seeing things, until the voice in my head interrupts me.
Give him an answer, you freak.
"Uh..thanks..?" I say. "Yeah. Thanks. I haven't been having the best week ever so far, so I appreciate your apology. Thanks." I stutter awkwardly.
This is why no one likes you.
"Cut it out!" I whisper and hit my head as if there's something stuck inside my ear.
"Hm?" Caden looks confused.
"Oh! Uh.." I try to think of a cover-up. "Nothing! Just...a fly landed in my ear..?"
Caden seems to go with it, because he shrugs and changes the topic.
"Sure. So, we're cool now?" He asks.
"Yep. We're good." I respond.
"Cool. So I'll see ya in homeroom." Caden says.
"See you." I say.
But making peace with Caden didn't solve all of my problems.
The voice didn't stop.
When I was walking in the halls, I suddenly got pushed over.
What gives?
Weak.
I wince. The voice is getting much louder.
I look up to see who has pushed me.
Lizzy.
"What was that for?" I say.
"You little-ugh! You stole Markus from Ariana!" She screams.
Yes you did.
"What the heck? He rejected me!" I defend myself.
For a reason.
"Yeah, after you tried to kiss him!" Lizzy screeches.
"What? I never tried to kiss him! I just asked him out!" I say.
This is ridiculous. It's true! I never tried to!
"Liar! Everyone knows! You're an attention-seeking leech!"

The voice keeps repeating this tune. Mocking and laughing at me. It's loud. But it won't stop.
I look so pathetic on the ground, now that everyone has crowded around me and has also started laughing. Paper airplanes, apples, pencils, lots of things are thrown at my face. I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to stop the tears.
How did I go from a well-liked girl to a bullied victim?

I beg for this to stop.

When I try to get up, people just push me back down.
The voice is so loud that it nearly wipes out all the other sounds from the students. It keeps chanting its laughing tune. But then it starts throwing insults and reminds me of all the bad things in my life.
I hide my face in my arms, and start shaking.
Someone kicks me in the eye.
"How dare you! You tried to take Markus away from me!" It's Ariana.
The students start chanting; "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"I could beat your ass. Don't underestimate me."
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Yes. She could. I can't deny it. She'd have basically the whole school on her side.
Just when I thought it would never end, the bell for school rang. Everyone left me on the ground, and scampered off to class.
I sighed, and trudged to class.
The voice didn't stop.
