Hundreds of thousands of people worldwide are a victim of the crush each year.
The crush can make or break you.

Tick, tock.
It's weird, isn't it? You really don't notice every normal thing in life very often. Like the clock on my left wall. Or the few tears running down my face. Or questions like, where do tears come from? Where do the things that produce tears come from? Where do those come from?
Or maybe it's just the fact that I really don't want to think about reality at the moment.
Knock, knock. A knock comes from my door.
"Come in." I say.
My door to my room clicks open, and there stands Lizzy, chewing gum, wearing revealing clothes, and her blond hair up in a messy bun.
"What up, party pooper?!" She looks at me from my head to my toes, and registers a disgusted look on her face.
"Ew, not a party pooper, more like a poop from a party." She says. "You smell like a donkey."
I sigh. "What do you want, Lizzy?"
She takes a seat in a chair next to me and leans towards me with a smile on her face.
"Well, Party poop, me, Ari and Raine are going to meet up with the jocks from school at the mall parking lot. You wanna tag along after ya, y'know..clean up?" Lizzy waves her hand dismissively.
I pause for a second. Lizzy was taking a big risk. There was getting a crush written all over this.
"Lizzy, that's dangerous. You could get a crush." I caution.
"So? You need to live your life, Aquarius. All you do now is mope." Lizzy responds.
How does she not understand? After everything?
"Liz, I'm sorry, but I'm not risking it. You can go with Ariana and Raine."
I say.
Annoyance shows on Lizzy's face. She raises one eyebrow.
"Ugh. Fine. Go and sit there for the rest of your life, why don't you? Go be lonely. Die lonely. I don't care. You'll do nothing good in your life. Well, guess what? I. Don't. Care." Lizzy slams the door.
Tears well up in the back of my eyes. We used to be best friends. Obviously everything has changed. Look at me now. The world has ruined me.
