Chapter 20

Next morning

Kimi's Pov

I woke up with energy and was ready to go find Levi. I got ready and woke Ryo up. He was a bit annoyed but I didn't care, I just wanted to go to Levi.

"Ryo do you know where we're going?"

" I thought you knew?!"

"Nope. Do you think there might be a small town nearby?"

" Sure there's totally going to be a small town nearby. When titans exist and are almost everywhere."

" Geez, sorry for asking."

At night

"Ryo lets set up camp. Tomorrow we can keep on going."

"Yeah okay."

1 hour later

"Do you think we'll make it back home alive?"

" I have hope, so yes I think we'll be home soon. By the way kimi where is your home? My home is where my dad and I use to be. So where is yours, you never talk about where and who your family is."

" Ryo I know we haven't been friends long and I don't like talking about my blood family or the family I have but since we've been through so much I'm going to tell you."

" I'm going to guess Levi knows?"

" No  actually, he doesn't. And I want to keep it that way if I can."

" I don't think he'll be happy if you told me first."

" I'm only telling you because I don't think I'll see him again and you're the closest friend I have right now."

"Kimi you don't have to tell me. It's okay if you don't, I understand."

"Yeah it's okay I'll tell you. I trust you. Well before I met Levi, my mom use to sell her body that way my brother and I could be fed. My brother......"

"Titan!"

3rd person's pov

Ryo noticed there was a titan coming towards them. He put the fire out and grabbed Kimi and went to hide behind a tree. The titan destroyed the camp they built. When Kimi saw this she was pissed.

" That stupid worthless titan just destroyed our camp! Who does he think he is just walking around late at night destroying people's camps!"

" Kimi keep it down he might hear you."

" I don't care we took an entire hour just to make that!"

Kimi then grabbed a rock and threw it at the titan. He looked in that direction, but didn't see anything. Ryo grabbed her just in the time.

A few minutes later the titan left.

" I'm sorry I almost got us killed Ryo."

" Yeah just don't do that again. Please. For my sake."

" Yeah alright. I just got really really mad that's all. I promise I won't do it again."

"Kimi are you okay? Do you need to talk about anything? You aren't acting like yourself lately." Wait it isn't your... you know time of the month?"

" What no! Why would you even...... Ryo! What's wrong with you?! You don't ask a girl that! I just keep re-thinking about a few things."

" Ah geez, sorry Kimi I just...."
