Kimi Pov

I heard Levi say this may not be the MPS it may be the survey corps. In a way I was excited because ever since I was little I wanted to join, but I was also afraid of getting caught and going to jail for all the crimes we did. I mean ever since we were little we were stealing but I guess that's what we had to do to survive down here.

I heard Levi say I'll make sure it's them.And when I saw him leave he did the unbelievable. At first I thought he was showing off, but he was just making sure to protect us.

"I saw the wings of freedom." I heard Levi say.

Furlan pov

Isabel came crying I asked what happened and she ignored me, completely.

Levi's Pov

I was cleaning my pocket knife when Isabel came crying in, Furlan asked what happened and she ignored him, at first, but then she said she just tripped. I asked if she was with those low-life scumbags again and after I asked what happened to her hair, she went running to her room saying it'll grow back. After that I went outside. Kimi wasn't here at that time, she went outside to our secret place.
When I came back Furlan asked if I had killed them. I didn't answer.

Kimi Pov

I was outside looking at the stars, this is were Levi and I always talk our secret place, of course Isabel and Furlan don't know about it

Flashback

Kimi Pov

I felt something or someone touching me I was to sleepy to answer so I turned around and saw who it was, it was Levi I asked him what he wanted at 12 in the morning.He said he wanted to show me something I answered with I'm to lazy to move he said it was very important, I told him what could be very important at this time. After arguing with him I finally agreed to get up. So I got up to see this so called very important thing.

We went to a cave that had a opening in the middle where you could see the night sky with hundreds of stars I was amazed. Levi told me this will now be our place.

Present day

Kimi Pov

Levi gave us orders to separate and we did. When we separated I instantly got caught but I wasn't going down without a fight I managed to get one of my arms free so I punched him as hard as I could in the face. He said son of a bitch I told him that's not how you treat a young lady so I kneed him in his man hood and escaped. When I wasn't paying attention I got caught again this guy was harder then the last because he was pretty strong I tried to fight back until he put a knife right next to my throat and I gave up.

Levi Pov

I was able loose one but not the other he came at me from the top and I quickly got my knife out and threw him to the ground. Then another guy with blonde hair and hairy eyebrows came and attacked me I tried to get my knife out but before I did I heard him say:

" Look around you."

And I did I saw Kimi, Isabel, and Furlan caught so I had no other choice but to stop. I heard Kimi and Isabel say let go you bastard.

Erwin pov

"I have some questions to ask you. Your vertical maneuvering skills were excellent who taught you?"

"You are the leader right?"

"Have you ever received militarily training?"

"I'll like to avoid any harsh treatment if I can."

"I'll ask again where did you learn vertical maneuvering?"

"WE DIDN'T LEARN IT FROM ANYONE! YOU THINK WE'RE GOING TO LET A CIVIL SERVANT PUSH US AROUND?! We figured it out so we can survive this dump! Anyone who doesn't know what sewage taste like couldn't possibly understand!"

"My name is Erwin Smith what are your names?"

"I applaud your determination. But if you keep it up I'll move to your comrades. What is your name?"

"It's Levi."

"Levi would you make a deal with me?"

"Deal...?"

"I won't ask about your crimes in return you will lend me your strength, and join the survey corps."

"If I refuse?"

"I will turn you over to the military police. Considering your crimes they won't let you go easy. Choose whichever path you wish."

"Very well we will join the survey corps."
