chapter 7

Kimi Pov

When we started ridding our horses Erwin shouted

"Deploy the long-distance scouting formation!!"

So the squads did, some went right, left, and others kept on going straight. I saw a red flare go up then a green one. Levi said it was a brilliant idea for so many units to act like one living creature. I mumbled the words squad leader Erwin really is something. Fortunately Levi heard me.

Levi's Pov

I heard Kimi say that Erwin really is something. I told her that she shouldn't like a guy like him and her face got red. I was kinda jealous that she prefers Erwin instead of me. Then again I told Kimi that I thought of her as my sister and not my lover.

Few minutes later

Kimi's Pov

After a few minutes the sky started getting real dark and then it started to rain and thunder. I then again felt something bad was going to happen, I told Levi this the night before but he said it might be nothing. I couldn't see Levi anymore, I guessed he left to go kill Erwin. I then heard him tell us not to separate, since we couldn't see what was coming  in front of us. Furlan told me Levi  went to go get the documents from Erwin. We also got separated from our squad. We managed to find them and they asked about Levi we told them we got separated.

And then we were surrounded by many  titans....

Levi's Pov

I saw many dead bodies and footprints heading behind were Kimi,Isabel,and Furlan are. I quickly turned around and headed back. I hoped I'd make it there in time. Even if they re joined the squad there will still be to many for all of them to handle.

Kimi Pov

Isabel,Furlan, and I saw a boy getting eaten and Furlan told us to scatter now. I saw his horse fall on top of him and Isabel used her 3DM and she slices it's fingers she then tries to cut its neck but misses it. Another titan then pushed  her and she lands on its back and then she rolled over to its butt. I tried to help her but it was to late another titan sees her and ate her from neck down. I heard her last word it was Levi. I managed to kill the one who ate her for revenge. I saw Furlan trying to kill the abnormal one and his 3DM wasn't working I was going to him in but that's when something caught me and I turned around to meet the eyes of a titan.

Levi's Pov

Kimi was right about something bad was going to happen I should've listen to her.

Shit I saw Kimi being held by a titan and that's when my horse tripped by a rock and I went flying to the floor. I saw Furlan killing a titan and then going to Kimi he managed to cut the fingers she was being held by, Kimi fell to the ground and I started to run faster. Furlan got caught by the same titan Kimi was being held by. Furlan saw me and told me to help Kimi, I quickly turned to her and saw she wasn't awake, but at that same moment he was being eaten by it. I took Kimi body and hid her behind a rock and let my anger and sadness come out.

Erwin pov

I saw steam from fallen titans but who would be able to defeat so many at one time... unless it was him.

I saw Levi and asked him if there were any survivors he said Kimi and himself. I then asked him if he did this alone?

He then flew himself on me and told me

"I'm going to kill you, you bastard. That's why I'm here!"

I showed him the documents and told him it was a bluff about living in the royal capital. Levi told me it wasn't worth throwing away their lives and that I lost. Before he tried to stab me with his sword I graded it with my hand and told him

"who was the one that killed my subordinates, me or the titans?"

He answered with

"it was my pride to blame."

I told him
"No ! It was the titans!"

I then told him

" Fight with me and your friend in the survey corps. Humanity needs your skill! And from here on out there's no deal."

Levi Pov

I went to go get Kimi from behind the rock and carried her bridal style. I put her on my horse and we rode off to dry land.
