( Levi x OC)

chapter 5

Kimi's Pov

After we killed the titan we went to a old castle which we had to spend the night in. I heard Isabel say that titans aren't active at night it made me less afraid, but I felt something terrible was going to happen, something Levi and I are going to blame ourselves for.

Flashback

Levi's Pov

"Furlan do you really think he brought the documents?"

"Yeah I made sure of it, earlier when I snuck into Erwin room I checked every place that looked suspicious. I didn't think I'd find them easily but I did happen on unrelated documents all over the place. It was certainly overflowing with secret-looking documents. But the papers we need weren't there."

"So if, with all the papers in that room, those were the only ones missing. Then he's gotta have them on him after all."

"Yes he might be carrying them, even outside the walls."

"Listen Isabel, Levi I saw Erwin and the commander head off together. Before he returns, Isabel and I will search his bags. Levi you guard the passage over there until we give a signal. If he comes back before the signal, then stop him."

"Stop him... you mean start a fight?"

" Don't draw attention ! And don't kill him even by accident."

Few minutes pass

(Erwin comes walking in) "What are you up to here alone?"

"Aren't your subordinates with you?"

"They're not my subordinates..."

"...I see so... how are you adjusting to the military life?"

"Lousy. All anyone ever talk about are about the titans, with that stifling look on their faces."

"Of course the survey corps attracts people like that."

"I'm sure with you at the top of the list."

"I'm sure having a natural like you around will make the others feel safe."

....

"As you've realized, the survey corps was built upon countless such as sacrifices. There are still to many things we don't know about the outside world. But if it means taking back the world for humanity... I'm sure none of them regret dedicating their hearts to that cause."

" Levi! Sorry I'm late! I finished changing so you can come back."

End of flashback

Kimi's Pov

We went inside the castle, sat down for a few minutes and then someone comes up to us. She said she was watching us at the crucial moment. Levi asked what she meant. She then said

" When you defeated the titan."

After all that she finally introduced herself, her name was Hanji Zoë.
She said our names right except for Furlan, Hanji didn't know his.

Hanji's pov

I asked Levi if he went through the training corps, and how he got so good at vertical maneuvering.........
(Kimi whispers to Levi to be nice) he answered with

" I practiced a lot."

I told him it was hard for me to balance with the belts at first and if there is some secret trick to getting to the next level?

"Everyone will like to know and that they saw your fight."

" Yeah big bro is super cool......"

I gave Isabel a gift to our new friendship and asked Levi if he could tell me his secret to his strength.

Levi's Pov

I told her that I'll pass.

"I do it my own way. It's not something I can teach other people."

She said but... but i cut her off and told her  I was tired and she left. Furlan called her a weirdo and said

" What's he big deal about teaching them some kind of simple trick?"

I told him I didn't want to be responsible for the lives of anyone else other then you Kimi  and Isabel.
