Today is the girls' fifth birthday! Their birthday party theme is Moana,of course. We're all wearing Hawaiian leis around our necks and the girls are wearing ones on their heads. We have the party in the backyard since we have a big pool. We play the girls' favorite songs,including the Moana soundtrack. We dance and sing and play a lot of games. E:ok,time to cut the cake! Everyone rushes over to the table where Emi and the cake are.

Everyone sings happy birthday to Emily and Amelia and they blow out their candles. Emi cuts the cake and gives everyone a piece.

The girls are in their room watching TV while Ivan,Rueben,Emi,and I clean up the mess in the backyard. Parties are fun,but not the clean up afterwards.
We finally get finished cleaning and go inside. Emi and I go upstairs to the girls' room. I carefully open the door and take a peak inside. They're asleep. I open the door more so we can walk in. We tuck the girls in and kiss them on their heads. I turn off the TV and we turn out the light and shut the door behinds us. We walk to our room and get changed into our pajamas. E:babe,can I ask you something? Y:yeah. What is it? He moves over and pats the bed beside him,signaling me to sit next to him. I walk over and do as I'm told. He takes a deep breath and starts to speak. I can tell he's nervous. E:so I've been thinking, we're married, have two kids, and have the best life ever and live with the best people ever. But,I just feel like since the girls are getting older and bigger that maybe we should find our own place.I mean, we can't all be crowded in this house forever, you know. Y: yeah,you're right. E:so what do you think? Y:I agree with you. But it's just weird to think that we'll be leaving our best friends,you know? E:yeah. Y:but we could use the space. Maybe we can find a house close by. E:I hope so. I yawn. He smiles at me and stands up. He walks over to his side of the bed and gets in. I get in my side. I cuddle up to his chest and he puts his head down on mine and wraps his arm around my waist. He kisses my head before speaking. E: we'll talk more tomorrow,ok? I nod. He kisses my head again and strokes my hair. Soon I feel my eyes getting heavy. E:I love you. Y:I love you to. My eyes get even heavier and I close them. Soon I fall asleep.
