Chapter 6

Emilio's POV

I woke up and looked down at Cassidy. She's cuddled up to my chest. I move her hair out from her face and put it behind her ear. I smile. She's so beautiful. How did I get so lucky? She moved her head and starts rubbing her eyes.
E:good morning mi amor.
Y:morning.
I kiss her head.
She looks up at me and smiles. I smile back. She lays her head back down.
Y:babe?
E:yea?
Y:are you going to tell Ivan and Rueben today?
I let out a sigh. I know I have to but something inside me doesn't want to.
E:yea.
Y:babe. I know moving away from your brother and best friend is hard but you'll get through this. They'll get through this. Plus it's just better for our family.
She gives me a warm smile. The smile that I love so much.
E:yea I know.
She starts rubbing my arm to comfort me.
E:thank you,babe. I love you so much.
Y: I love you to.
I lean in and kiss her. I can feel her smile into the kiss. I pull away and smile at her smiling face. I get up and walk to the closet to pick out my outfit and get ready for the day. When I'm done,Cassidy dose the same. I grab my phone and put in my pocket and head to the girls' room. I get them dressed then we go downstairs with Ivan and Rueben.
E:morning guys!
R:morning!
I:morning! Morning girls!
Em&A: morning Uncle Ivan!
Ivan smiled like an idiot. He enjoys being an uncle. Seeing his face smiling like that just hurt me inside because I'm going to be moving soon, but he doesn't know. I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and see Cassidy coming down the stairs.
Em&A:morning Mommy!
Cassidy and I let out huge smiles.
Y:morning girls!
She walks toward them and kisses their cheeks.
She walks to the kitchen and starts making breakfast.

Later

E:hey guys. Can we talk to you?
I:uh,yeah. What is it?
We all sit on the couch. I let out a sigh. Cassidy puts her hand on my shoulder. I look over at her. She nods and gives me a warm smile. I look back at my brother and best friend.
E:so,um, this is kind of hard to say but uh, Cassidy and I think that it is best for our family if we get our own house for our girls to grow up in. Cause you know,they're five years old now and they're only going to get bigger and it's kind of crowed with all of us here.
Ivan and Rueben look at each other. Ivan let out a sigh and put his head in his hands.
R: I understand and I agree with you. Your girls need a good place to grow up with their parents.
E:Ivan?
I:Don't take this the wrong way but I wasn't expecting that at all. I mean,I understand and all but..
He let out a sigh and shook his head.
E:I know. I don't want to leave you. That's why we're going to move in the house right down the street. It's a really short walk from here.
I:oh,really?!
Y:yeah!
R:oh that's perfect!
I:wait,the one with the big pool and hot tub in the back yard?
E:yep!
I:oh! Bro!
E:so,you're okay with it?
I:of course I'm okay with it! I'm your brother and I support everything you do,well maybe not everything but most of everything you do.
We all giggle.
R:bring it in guys!
We all get up and group hug. I feel a tug at my pant leg. I look down and see Emily pulling at my pants.
Em: Daddy?
E:yeah?
Em: we're hungy!
We all giggle and stop hugging. I pick up Emily and Cassidy picks up Amelia and we walk over to the kitchen to get them some food.
