It was usually customary to not talk about anything related to business while eating, so as they did, the topic of conversation then moved into far more casual areas.
What life was like in her native America, the type of things she did every day...Izuku asked most of the questions, though. Toshi was perfectly happy with just listening to her.
"What sort of music do you like?" Izuku asked.
"I'm a rock chick, mostly," Sasha smiled, "but I'm pretty fond of dance and club music too. Stuff with a good beat. I try to get out at least once if I can, at the weekend."
"Have you ever been to a concert? Toshi does a lot."
"Yeah, concerts are the best. There's somethin' about live music that you just don't get on CDs. I'd recommend it. What about you, do you go out with your friends and stuff quite often? Or your girlfriend?"
"Oh- w-we don't really have anybody as yet, heh."
"Don't worry about it, there's plenty of time."
"Have you left anyone behind? Must be weird."
   "Uhh...no, I haven't really got anyone either."
   "That's surprising." Toshi commented gently.
"Stranger things have happened." She smiled. "I just got real busy for a while, I guess."
She looked a little sad at that, but he chose not to ask.

"I have got to ask this one." Izuku then said excitedly. "What's the most annoying thing about living for two thousand years? Isn't it boring?"
"You'd think so," she smiled, "but just as it's starting to look like the same old, somethin' always surprises me. It took a while to get used to all the new casual language stuff. It's funny what some people think is a proper word these days."
"And the curses? I don't curse very much, though."
"You probly will sooner or later, it's a part of life. Remember that there's proper times for that, though. Busting one out at school wouldn't be a hot idea."
   "Huh, tell that to Kacchan."
"Oh, is he a friend of yours?"
"Kinda. We grew up together so I thought we were like childhood friends? But he always put me down, and he's obsessed with being the best hero. And beating me."
"I take it he's got a potty mouth, too."
"Has he ever, haha." Toshi laughed. "You haven't heard everything until you've heard Bakugo swear."
"That'll be pretty soon, then, cos' I start on Thursday."
"I'll give you fair warning, my Lady, he's a real piece of work in more ways than just one. The other teachers will no doubt fill you in on his glorious career so far."
"Haha, well, he's gonna have his hands full with me."
"I'd pay to see that." Toshi grinned.

The chatter then dipped back into work areas once again.
"So tell me more about this U.A place." She smiled.
"It's like, the school to go to if you wanna become one of the best heroes." Izuku enthused. "Kamui, Endeavour, All Might, they all went to study there. Every legend. And all of the teachers are amazing in their own rights, too."
"Top school, huh? I see. I think it's really cool that the teachers are also heroes. You can't get much realer than being taught by guys who know how it is."
"That's the plan." Toshi nodded. "They cover everything from simulations and mock disasters right the way through to academics and the law. And, of course, their Sports Festival is the highlight of the year, all of Japan goes to see it."
   "Wow. It's like the Olympics."
"Here, that doesn't even get a look-in anymore. It's all about the Sports Festival and each year's new talent."
"Impressive! I'll have to watch the previous one and get a feel for it, I missed seeing any of them from before. Has the school changed much in the wake of what happened?"
"The security got a major overhaul, yeah." He nodded. "It's about six times what it was before, now, and there's also additional sentries to guard the perimeters."

"What do you think about what happened, Sasha?" Izuku then asked her. "Did you hear about it on TV?"
"Yeah." She nodded. "That was one of the first things that made me feel like I needed to keep an eye on the place. From their point of view, it was a bold and brilliant move, of course. You wouldn't normally think of attacking such a high-powered organisation like that. But on the plus side, at least it highlighted flaws and allowed for improvements. That may never have happened if nothing had made itself out to be a decent challenge for it."
"So...do you think someone will try again, someday?"
"It's possible, yeah. That's the one thing I've noticed over the years- you can't stop evolution. Even if it's years from now, a newer generation will try again at some point. That's why we have to keep evolving too, to beat them at their own game. That's why I'm lending my power to the cause."
"It's very kind of you to help." Toshi added. "How much work would you be able to put in?"
"I could definitely manage two or three classes a week." She replied. "After that I'd have to look at it when I've been there for a while, see what else I can fit in."
   "Would you...need an assistant, maybe?"
"Hahaha, you could never be a mere assistant, Toshi."
She was so nice! He laughed along too. "If you say so."
