Four hours seemed to go by a little too fast. But sure enough, it actually was four in the morning and that really was a very annoying alarm going off far too loudly.
Due to that, they both woke up with a start and they both had differing reactions to that noise. Sasha jumped, her eyes plinking open quickly, and the shock also served to wake her up pretty fast. But Toshi? Well...
He wasn't quite so gracious; after the same jumping reaction, he groaned and pulled the covers up to cover his head. At the same time, a hand sprung out from the bed in order to locate the phone and slap it into silence, like he did with every alarm that he ever set on it...but he'd forgotten about the glass of water and jar of ointment that also occupied a nearby space on that same bedside table. Oops.
The glass and jar went flying, and the glass met the floor with a thump as the jar narrowly missed Sasha's head.
Not the best wake-up, by all accounts.
The phone got silenced on his second try, and by that point Sasha was sat upright and wondering why her legs were wet.
A quick thought turned the lamp on...ah.

"That's a bit bright." He said groggily, deciding to keep his eyes firmly closed in order to avoid some of the sting.
"You weren't kidding about your wake-ups." She smiled. "I really don't think that the glass deserved that, though."
   "...huh?"
"Or the jar. Why did you leave 'em so close?"
   "Because..." He paused. "Shit. Sorry."
She giggled. "It's okay, only my legs got wet."
"They're what?" He braved the bright light and squinted at the floor after leaning over slightly. "Oww...ah jeez, sorry about that, babe. I didn't think."
"It's okay, lie back down if you're hurting. I don't think your pinwheel needs any more excuses to start building mountains over your ribcage, right?"
He did so anyway, as that leaning movement had been surprisingly painful to him. "Dunno why it hurts so much, maybe it's cos' I'm not fully awake?"
"We'll soon find out." She then got up and he started grinning at the sight of her still being in the sleeping bag.
"So it's pretty comfy, then?" He joked.
"Oh, shut up." She laughed. "I'll just get this cleaned up first, okay? Wait right there."

After that was all sorted out, she left the sleeping bag and dried her feet before searching for that missing jar.
"They suit you, y'know." He said as he watched her.
"I've got a set for when it's cold." She told him. "Don't usually wear 'em all the time, though."
"What do you have instead? Wait- don't answer that."
She giggled. "Usually some kinda chemise. Or nothing." She then looked down at the still-damp pyjama bottoms. "Might have to stick something else on anyway." She then changed her clothes between one heartbeat and the next. "Where the fuck has this damn jar got to?" She carried on searching.
She was now wearing a black satin chemise that glimmered in the bedside lamp's light, and Toshi rubbed at his eyes with one hand so that he could see a little better. It came to just above her knees, and had a lace-trimmed V-neck that turned into very thin shoulder straps.
   "Oh, Gods..." He murmured.
"They're busy." She smiled. "But luckily for you...ah, gotcha!" She picked up the jar and turned around. "I knew it had rolled over here somewhere. You ready?"
   "Hell no." He said.

She walked around to the other side of the bed. "It'll probly be a little bit cold," she warned as she unscrewed the lid and left it on the other bedside table behind her, "so you could always do it if you think that'd be better."
...was he still dreaming right now, possibly? "You can do it." He said after a pause. "See if you can warm it up."
"Not too much, might stop it working." She then looked at him for a moment. "Uh, so...are you gonna move those covers back, then? Can't get to it otherwise."
He pushed them down, but only as far as they needed to go down; he didn't dare push them any lower.
Briefly holding his breath was a good idea that took away quite a bit of the initial shock, too. That ointment was still on the cold side, but at least it wasn't freezing.
"How's it looking?" He asked, trying to take the majority of his mind away from what it was thinking.
"Not too bad, actually." She smiled as she continued to rub the product into his skin. "She was right; your natural healing process looks to be quite fast by itself."
"I mean it's not infected or anythin' like that, right? I wondered if it was cos' of earlier, when I leant over."
"Nope." She reported. "It's a little red from still being sore. Nothin' more than that."
