As Sasha guided her students through several exercises that would stand them in good stead for the upcoming surprise, Toshi passed the time by looking at their current form...
Inbetween looking at Sasha's, of course.
Those birds would have to be jealous of him now.
"Don't say anything," she then told him without moving her lips, "I'm talking to you inside your thoughts. Just think words back at me, and I'll hear them."
"Just when I think you can't get more amazing."
"Haha. I wanted to check that you were okay, this part's probly a little boring for you."
"Oh, I dunno, it's got quite a few perks..."
She only just about resisted the urge to giggle at that.
"The secret's blown if you make me blush, y'know."
"Then don't." He grinned at her. "When this class is over, do you wanna go and grab some lunch with me?"
"Sure. That's somewhere I still need to check out, actually. I hear that Lunch Rush is a phenomenal cook."
"...you've not been to the Cafeteria yet? How?"
"Honestly, I never thought of it. Always eaten out so far."
"That is gonna get fixed. It's a date. Oh, and by the way...can you bend over a little more to the left, please?"
"Toshi!!" That little remark made her gasp aloud, but she managed to cover it up with a small cough. His laughter at that made it feel like her face was beginning to get warm, so she used a drop of power to disguise it from the class just in case. They were not seeing her blush.
"What?" He said with an angelic tinge. "Haha. Don't worry, I'm not makin' fun of you. All my thoughts are of worship."
She decided to stop after two more minutes, and brought the exercising to a close with a few last stretches.
"Okay!" She smiled. "Now we're ready for anything." She then saw that Katsuki was stifling a yawn. "Hey, Bakugo, you're sposed to be more alert now."
"I will be when we finally get some shit done."
"We're about to, dude!" Kirishima reminded him.
"That's right." Sasha smiled. "And for today, I asked you all to come here cos' you're gonna go on a little mystery tour for me. While you're doin' this, I want you to look out for-"
"Do you have to treat us like we're kids?" No prizes were being given out for who the owner of that remark was.Sasha sighed. "No, Bakugo, I'm doing somethin' called, 'being friendly'. You oughta try it sometime."
"We're not here to be friends."
"While that's true in one way, as you all have your own career paths and they're separate, it's also very possible to form lasting bonds with the people in your class." She told him. "But that's not really why you're pissed off, is it?"
"Uh-oh." Tsuya ribbeted nervously.
"Give it a rest for once, Bakugo." Momo sighed. "Jeez."
By this point, Toshi had gotten to his feet and was actually standing by Sasha's right side. He'd briefly touched her arm to let her know that he was there, and he was viewing Katsuki's growing temper with annoyance. He'd stood far more from the lad himself, over time, but when things like that were directed at his girl...
Goddess or not, he really wasn't fond of it.
She could sense that too. "As charming as you remember?"
"More than." Toshi grumbled. "I don't like anyone that insults you. If he carries on, I'm gonna slap him silly."
"Why wait?" She then flicked her fingers at the simmering blonde in the distance. "How about you come over here and tell me what's wrong, Bakugo." She said. "To my face.""Why?" He retorted. "I sure wasn't talkin' to your tits right now, unlike someone else I could mention."
"Hey!" Mineta protested.
"And I also don't fall over backwards to kiss your ass."
"Whatever beef you've got with me, you don't have to get the rest of the class involved. There's plenty of time, so please come over here and we can discuss it." Sasha said.
"And get beaten by you? Ha, I don't think so."
"...is that all that bothers you?" She shrugged. "Okay then, I give you my word that if you come over here, I won't harm you. Will that cushion your fragile ego enough?"
As the class sniggered, Toshi clamped a hand over his mouth to contain his reaction. "...beautiful." He thought.
Her idea worked though, as Katsuki left his classmates behind and walked over to stand a few inches away from her.
"So what's gotten to you this time?" She asked.
"Would you like a freakin' list?"
"I'd like an actual proper answer that's not full of shit, first, the list can wait a while."
He raised a sparking finger at her. "I know your game. You-"
He never got to finish; on silent signal, Toshi got his supportive boost and instantly inflated. Half a second later, he appeared out of nowhere and gave a short punch to the middle of Katsuki's chest, sending him through the air to land in an undignified heap over twenty metres away.

Hayran KurguToshinori Yagi was pretty used to this 'retirement' thing, for the most part. He still had plenty to do, friends to hang out with and his old teaching buddies to visit. He also checked-in on the classes, too, he'd never forget those. But even though...
