"Do you have the card for Peter's room?" I ask Happy once he and I reach the hallway before our rooms. He looks at me and raises a brow curiously.

"Why do you need the key?" He asks me at once. I smile lightly.

"Well I want to apologize to him, and make sure he's okay," I say to him, "please?"

"Is you're father gonna be okay with that?" Happy asks. I roll my eyes and hold my hand out for the key. When would I ever care what my father thought? Besides I just met the kid what the hell could even happen?

"My father trusts his little girl," I say as he hands over the card reluctantly, "It'll be five minutes max."

"I'm timing you," Happy says as I swipe the card in front of the little box on the lock. The light turns green and I open the door. I feel Happy's on me as he sighs loudly. I wave. As I walk through the suite I see Peter on the ground holding his new suit in his hands. "You like it?" I ask causing him to jump up. He obviously wasn't expecting me to be here. Right in his room like this.

"What are you doing in here?" He asks looking up at me confused at my presence. I smile at him.

"Checking up on you," I say to him I gesture to the ground beside him, "can I sit?" He nods.

"Yeah of course," He says. I sit in front of him and he takes a deep breath. Siting this close to him I can now see his dark purple bruise over his eye. More so I can see the wear on his entire face. It contrasts against his deep brown eyes.

"Can I?" I ask. He nods not sure what i was about to do. I place my fingers below his eye touching the bruise. He flinches slightly. But relaxes as he meets my eyes. "All that and you got away with a bruise?"

"A plane didn't almost crush me," He says as he glances down at my bright blue cast. I pull my hand away from his eye. "A broken arm?"

"And a couple broken ribs," I say in a matter of fact tone. Pushing away the seriousness in the situation, "Are you okay?"

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" He asks placing his hand on my cast. I feel my cheeks heat up at the simple action. I smile lightly.

"The cast will be off in three days," I tell him honestly. It's from experience I've broken bones before and it doesn't last more than a couple days. "its the usual damage after I fight."

"Why didn't you stop?" Peter asks me seriously. I sigh lightly at the question.

"I thought I could stop him," I admit to him, "but Nat- Black Widow stopped me."

"I thought she was on our side?" He asks me. I push my hair back from my face.

"She changed her mind," I say with a slight shrug. He looks at me carefully.

"Are you okay?" He asks me. I'm taken back at the question. I thought I already added that I was fine. I mean maybe he didn't hear or maybe even pay attention. I smile politely at him starting to reexplain.

"I will be," I say honestly as I start explaining the powers, "like I said just give it a couple days. I heal fast-"

"No about Captain America," Peter says, "you said he was like a father figure." Now I'm even more taken back at his words. More so at the fact he cared to ask it in the first place. He's new but he already gets how much these people mean to me. There's no way he could tell. Am I being that obvious? "Come on you can tell me."

"I'm upset. I just want everyone to be okay," I admit to him. It's the first time I'm actually giving myself the chance to feel anything about the topic. It's hard to think about. Depending on what happens the entire dynamic would change. Everything would, "I don't even know if I believe my father is right. But I'm all he has. I can't leave my dad alone. I just don't want the Avengers to split." He places a hand on my shoulder. "I don't want to lose them. Any of them."
