"William you have fever." Arthur says, holding the thermometer, making me cough.
"How the hell did he get a fever? What were you two doing yesterday that made him get a fever?" Enzo asked, and I looked at Arthur as he just glared at him.
"We did things. Nothing that bad. I not know..." He looked at me, and I grinned." I may know."
"What is it?"
"No business." He growls, shoving him out my room as he closed the door. Once he locked the door he faced me, pouting as he sat beside me.
I laugh, but only end up coughing a disgusting cough. Making him grab my hand as he kissed my knuckles.
"I sorry. Yesterday I took too far. Now look, you sick in such short time."
"I think it was those macarons." I say, making him shake his head.
"I not think that. I think it my fault. I not have done you like that and take advantage of body."
"No, I liked it. I not mind if you do it again." I admit, making him smirk but soon shake his head.
"Rather not. I lost cool. I feel bad..."
"I don't. I most definitely learned my lesson."
"Did you?"
"For sure. But that whole time you didn't kiss me."
He shrugs, pulling the blanket higher onto my body. But I sat up, making him shake his head.
"I must get you well. I make sick, so I make well-."
"You didn't make me sick. I'm telling you, I probably got like this being on top of the arc in the cold. It was chilly up there and I had short sleeves." I explain, making him shake his head.
"I not care. It still come to me. If I not take you there you be fine. So quiet and let me take care of you."
I sigh in annoyance, still sitting up as he turns on the TV. Some French opera show coming on and it made my face twist up.
"I don't want to watch this."
"I not either. Be patient."
He went to the guide, scrolling through channels and there was nothing I wanted to watch.
All there was was old people shit, and the fact that he didn't seem to find this as a problem concerned me.
"Is this all the shows you have?"
"There more. You just in the wrong section cause parents in here last time."
"Adoptive?"
"Of course. Have not seen parents in years. Never see dad. Mom five...six years ago. I so lonely..."
I looked back at the screen, not even going to ask any questions. The last time I did he was on a plane back here two years ago.
These days I don't know what he's capable of - in a good way. Yesterday was something else and if I could have happen again...I fucking would.
"No TV then." He turned the TV off, just facing me as he grinned." I just talk to you."
"No, I rather kiss."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because."
I just look at him, watching as he just grinned and I sneered.
"You're a coward."
Arthur shook his head, and I nodded," Yes, you are a coward. You won't kiss me because you're afraid to fall back into my trap? If you were confident in yourself, you wouldn't be worrying about falling into my trap. So guess what? You're. A. Co-!"
