I stand before everyone, my hands resting firmly on the table. Arthur was right beside me and he looked at me as if I was silly.
Except I face everyone now - dead serious.
"This is going to be a fun time. No petty fights or angering each other - none of that. We are just going to get along." I state happily and proudly. I look at Colette, seeing her sit by herself.
Everyone avoided sitting beside her...not surprising.
"So what exactly are we doing?" Nathan asks me now. Right now we were outside at one of the vacation homes I decided to purchase on a whim. Everyone was here - except Talia...
I felt kind of bad for Bella because she broke up with Talia really fast. Though I think it was more because she found out that she was just Talia's little way of being able to stay near Arthur. She wasn't really...in love with her, and I could tell that bothered her.
My parents were here too, along with Arthur's parents. Raphael and Dylan were together, Dylan holding Raphael's hand tightly. Colette didn't look bothered at all - more like she pitied him.
The twins were out of the drama so they knew nothing of what was going on... Which for the very best. However they did bring some friends with them so that they weren't the only children present.
"We're all here - as a family." I smile, and I see Colette looking at me now. "Everyone here is important. If you're here that means someone wanted you here. It was either me or Arthur - I'll let you assume what you must. This is to be a time to...just be happy. Too much drama has been happening and I just want to get away."
Everyone seemed to be agreeing with me. The only person who looked shocked by my words was Colette.
Wonder why.
"I not want any of you to be the sad or the bored. This be fun times!" Arthur exclaims happily, clasping his hands together. "There no point in...being sad. All problems and drama - it left back home. This different place, not bring it here."
I nod vigorously so that everyone understood that that needed to be known. They seemed to agree just fine. Colette was the only one who looked surprised still.
That's when I sit down, smiling at everyone. Arthur sat beside me and everyone was just chatting about. We even saw Ava and Isabella run off with their friends.
I was hoping it would be relaxing. They better have taken our words to account. It seemed like they did.
"I like to see family happy. They not know that we...have surprise." Arthur murmurs near my ear.
The surprise wasn't really a surprise. We just are going to go on a yacht. It'll be riding towards us soon enough since the ocean water is pretty clear.
It was morning right now and everyone was still kind of out of it. It was morning, but I could tell they were waking up now.
"Hey."
Arthur and I look when we hear Bella's voice. She sits beside me, gesturing for us to draw nearer towards her. Once we do she sighs sadly, nodding behind us.
"Arthur your mom looks really...sad." Bella whispers to us.
I glance at Colette and I see her just staring off. Though there was this crestfallen look to her face. As if there was something missing or she's thinking deeply about something.
"She's daydreaming." I hiss quietly, but Bella rolled her eyes at such a thing. "She is! Look...if she wants to talk to anyone - she can go for it. No one is exactly stopping her."
