sonia has been falling apart, as much as she abused the young boy she still cared for him. it has been over three weeks since her young boy has gone missing. little did she know he was actually in the same neighborhood, just down the road.
eddie and the group created their plan and stuck to it. ofcourse with eddies disappearance came multiple cops and investigators trying to determine the boys whereabouts, they questioned multiple people including the children on the block. each of them said the same thing, they had no idea where eddie was as far as the officers knew. but each of them knew that eddie was being sheltered from his cruel mother in a house also filled with abuse yet when richie and eddie are together they can only feel love.
the next stage in their plan was to go to the cops discreetly with eddie to show he was alive, they were planning on doing that on thursday.
eddie was in richies bed tossing and turning scared of the many possibilities that may come out of this plan, and he finally realized—it was thursday. his heart stopped now that he knew the plan was finally in motion, he was terrified to say the least. he knew his day would definitely be filled with multiple emotions but he had no idea what type of emotions, things can go in multiple directions.
eddie raced back and forth for hours without even realizing and was snapped out of his trance when he heard a knock on the front of richie's door. there was a short pause, that alone made eddies heart pound nearly through his chest.
"eddie! open up!" yelled the ginger haired girls.
he stared at the door with wide eyes. he was paralyzed with fear. he had no idea what would happen if they were to go to the police station, hell they could send him back with his mother if they felt like it. he was not ready.
the silence was followed my more pounding knocks,
"ed's open the door please," eddie realized that soothing tone, it was richie.
of course he would open the door for richie and not the rest because for some reason he felt safe with richie.
he walked slowly to the door and peeled into the peep hole, he had to stand on the tips of his toes to actually see. he was meet with a big down eyes bro staring right at him and eddie knew richie could see him.
"hey ed's," richie said staring into the peep hole while giving eddie a small smile letting him know everything okay.
eddies heart nearly melted with that, the smile, the eyes, he could barely handle it. he was shaking with blush as he opened the door for the group.
"h-h-h-h-h" eddie couldn't speak properly from his nerves being to jumbled up. richie realized this was going to be a tough day for him. they were risking everything in hopes of eddie having the best life he could have.
richie grabbed eddies arm and pulled him towards his own body. they were now so close their stomachs were pressing together. richie hughes eddie tightly, he even picked him up. this nearly brought tears to eddies eyes because he never thought he would able to feel love just from a single hug. he realized richie is all he needed. as long as he had richie he would be okay.
the rest of the group brushed past them and headed to the living room shortly followed my eddie and richie.
"- alright guys today is the day," spoke stan gaining everyone's attention.
"yeah, today's it" beverley responded look up at eddie, "you ready?" she asked quietly.
eddie was staring at the ground trying to keep the tears from flowing. "no he's not, but it's what we have to do and we won't let anything bad happen to him," richie responded for eddie. eddie glanced at richie and was met with richie grabbing his hand and giving him a light squeeze. eddie knew richie cared for him.
"ok well, let's go losers. let's save eddie." beverly said well letting out a breath.
"excuse me?" eddie responded with furrowed eyebrows.
the group laughed in sync, "oh, you didn't know?" richie was he first to respond while he continued to laugh.
"no?" eddie responded extremely confused.
"we're the losers club," richie responded giving eddie a welcoming smile.
"o-oh, i-i love that," eddie responded and gave richie a heart warming smile.
and with that they were off to try to save eddie, they hoped for the best but a few were expecting the worse.
