Ch. 9 Another Misleading Event

After Tierra accepted his offer, he handed her the book and walked back to his room, but she followed suite.

"Eh? Is there something else you need Tierra?" He asked puzzled as Tierra was still following him Into his room.

"Can I borrow some clothes?" She asked looking him in the eyes.

"They have not washed your clothes yet?" His eyebrows started to furrow.

"No that is not the problem brobro, I want something easy to move around in, but also something that doesn't stand out like a poofy dress," she started to explain.

"But that is not ladylike.." he reminded.

At this point, I DON'T CARE..

"That's fine with me," Tierra said giving him a reassuring smile. She walked to his bed and sat down.

He sighed,

"Just wear a simpler dress, but I will give you this," Levi said, as he walked to his closet, and pulled out a dark blue cloak. "I just bought this, so take care of it. It is very high quality." He finished.

"I cannot, this is brobro's new item, and it mustve cost a lot, I cannot accept." Tierra said while eye googling the cloak.

He gave another helpless sigh,

"Its alright, don't worry, it's an... early birthday present." He negotiated, walked over, and kneeled on the ground so he was at her level, then draped the cloak over her shoulders. When he took out a pin, he was having struggles trying to hook on the pin to hold the cloak together in front of Tierra.

"I give my thanks then," Tierra said leaning towards him, and giving her brobro a thankful kiss on the cheek.

"Levi~~~! You have a pretty nice house, anyways, are you read-" the boy stopped mid sentence as he stood at the doorway of Levi's room.

Tierra heard a voice coming from Levi's doorway, and leaned back before turning her head to that direction. Levi also turned to see who it was.

And who stood there? Low and behold the prince.... I need to research the current royalties and stuff, because i dont know his name yet... ehehe..

"Ah, greetings your highne-"  Tierra started in a cold and distant voice, but before she could finish.

The prince strode towards the two with heavy steps, and pulled her away from Levi, who was still trying to pin Tierra's new cloak, but it fell off when she was pulled away. After he dragged her away, he whipped his arm back to gain momentum, and BAM! He punched Levi in the face...

Levi who was once before kneeling down, was punched to the floor. His lip was swollen red and bleeding.

WHAT'S THIS KIDS PROBLEM?!

"I SAW HER FIRST. EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND, YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME," he yelled, glaring at Levi, who was groaning in pain as he sat up in a stable position, before wiping his mouth with his hand.

At this point Tierra didn't care what this kid spouted, and ignored everything he said as she quickly dashed towards Levi.

"Brobro! Are you okay?!" She bent down onto her knees, supporting him from wobbling down onto the ground again. She quickly took out her handkerchief and began wiping the blood off his mouth with one hand while the other was supporting his back.

Tierra was fuming with anger, how dare he hit Levi! Even if he's a prince, he hit someone in their own household! All the little respect she had for the prince now faded to zero. She wanted to try using her light magic to heal him, but i can't draw attention right now, especially since the prince is here, she doesn't know if it'll work either.

"Why did you do that to my brother?! I thought you were his best friend." Tierra scoffed and glared at him. Levi groaned again, and she hastily whipped her head back to him and continued to try to help him relieve his pain.

"B-brother? Levi is your brother??" He asked in a disbelieving tone while in shock, then faced Levi, "she's the girl you talked about that was your sister??"

Tierra rolled her eyes at him,

"Yes! Of course he is my brother, you idiot! Now are you just gonna stand there, or go get help?!" She said exhausted.

How will this prince rule a kingdom one day?!

He finally dashed out the room, and returned with help. The doctor came over and said that there wasn't any broken bones, but he dislocated his jaw a little. Which she knew, but just didn't say.

There's one thing you need to know about assasins, they obviously know how to heal and treat themselves as they always go on risky missions and they can backfire. Though after she assassinate someone, she always played the piano for their death. Kind of like, It was a way to mourn for their death.

The healer quickly fixed  Levi up, besides the fact that the side of his lip was still swollen and red. After they were excused, it was once again only us three. The silence was suffocating, but thankfully the prince spoke up.

"I'm sorry Levi, it was a misunderstanding." He apologized sincerely.

"Its okay, we'll talk about it later," Levi said, emphasising 'it'?

"Is the hunting trip still going on?" Tierra cut in. Levi nodded, and the prince obliged.

"Ah! Um.... what might be his highness' name?" She asked feeling dumb for not knowing.

Tierra was pretty sure she saw both Levi and the prince's eyebrows twitch at her question.

Yes yea!!! I don't even know the prince's name, even when I'm in their kingdom, I want to cry too, ya know! But I lack the tears to do so!!!

But then the prince chuckled and replied,

"I'm called Xander Osweld. But you can call me Xander."

"This being doesn't dare to, your highness," Tierra stated in a distant voice again. That is a no go. I'll just draw more attention to myself, more than I have right now.

Before he could say anything else she spoke up once again.

"If I may excuse myself now, I will head back to my room to prepare a bit more before leaving for the hunt, since we are continuing with the plans." She turned, grabbed the cloak that fell onto the floor from the earlier fiasco, and left back to my room, but she heard someone say,  "you invited her to come with us? Nice job dude!"

Tierra just rolled her eyes as she continued down to her room next door.

Levi: I believe your smart and all Little Sis, but to not even know his highnesses name???

Tierra: Well sorry for not knowing, I thought it was of absolute no importance. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue reading Levi.

Levi: Haaah.... yeah sure...

Back with Xander

Xander: Bro.. she didn't even know my name... I might not have a chance..

Levi: Ahaha... sorry, she's a handful sometimes, but that's what makes her fun, umm what do you mean 'you might not have a chance'? A chance at what exactly?

Xander: Nothing for you to worry about... haaah...

Levi: Tell me if something's wrong though.
