Ch. 10 I Will Remember You

Once Tierra entered into her room, she looked into the wall mirror, and draped the cloak over her again.

Hmm~ I need a pin... I should have some pins somewhere here....

Tierra went to her vanity desk that she barely used and opened a drawer. Nothing... she closed it and open the next few ones, until she finally got to the last drawer that had a small box in it.

Hm? Where'd this come from?

She rummaged through her brain to try and remember. Ah~~.....

That time... a small smile grew onto my lips. Heh~

Haaah..... haaaa... The seven year old Tierra kept breathing out, panting and laying on the grass, though no one was there to see her, so she didn't get into trouble.

What she was doing, you might ask? She was doing her usual work out, push ups, sit ups, planks, pull ups, lunges, etc.. I mean come on, she missed her abs, her beautiful six pack wuahhhh..

Haaah... welp, noe she better go take a bath before she gets caught in this sweaty mess. She snuck back into her room stealthily without being caught.

After that, she sat back out on her tea table.

Hm~~ oh yeah, isn't there an entrance into the forest at the back? Ehehe...

She snuck to the back, climbed and leapt over the gate, that surprisingly had no guards at, at the moment.

Mm...hmhm...ehehehe... since when was the last time I've felt so free?!

She spread both of her arms out beside herself, as she ran through the forest barefoot.

She started laughing to myself, until she came to a stop. On the grass, leaning onto a tree was a small injured wolf.

She quickly ran over, and knelt down beside it, as she heard it panting loudly, and weezing in pain. Tierra looked over its small body, and there were claw marks on the other side of its leg.

She slowly but surely turned him over to the other side as it grunted again in pain.

Tierra started whispering soothing words into its ear.

"Shh..sh-sh, it's okay... I'm here.... you'll make it, don't worry... shhhh....."

She looked at its leg again, and narrowed her eyes. What could do such a thing? She took out her handkerchief, and dipped it in a puddle of water she found. Tierra then softly dabbed it onto the wound, cleaning it so it won't get infected.

She looked around, in search of something soft... Ah! She can use some moss and grass. She plucked a handful of moss and grass, making her hands dirty in the process, but didn't care at this moment.

She then looked around once again. Hmm... Oh yeah!

Tierra looked up while she jumped as high as she could go, and snapped a branch off. But she got a cut on her arm in the process.

Ha! She knelt down again, and ripped off a part of her dress. Tierra put the grass and moss onto the the wound.

The wolf's eyes that was scrunched closed, squinted its eyes open just a crack. It let out a grunt.

"Hhhrrgggg" It moaned.

"Sh... I'm sorry, I'm trying to help.... sh sh...." She then put the hard and stable branch, and put it up against the grass and moss on its leg, put her handkerchief around the leg, and tied the teared cloth around it.

"There... it will be like a cast, it will help get you better..." she hushed reassured.

Animals.... are the only ones I can truly trust....

Ah! I brought out a sweet that was packed with me, in case, for a little picnic.

"Are you hungry, do you want a snack? Ehehe can you eat sweets? I made this one by myself in secret though so shhh.." She kept asking, and nudged the sweet closer to the little guy.

But then suddenly there was shouting to be heard.

"Young Miss! Where are you?! Young Missssss!!!!" I sighed.

"This is when I have to go... get better okay?" She put down the sweet next to it, while she pet it's fur and buried itself into her hug, making sure not to hurt it anymore though.

Tierra quickly gave it a kiss on top of its head as she stood up.

It whimpered at the sight.

"You'll get better, don't worry..." she smiled a sad smile.

Then that's when she noticed something shiny under him. Tierra crouched down, and grabbed onto it.

Huh? A box?

The wolf used its uninjured paw and nudged it closer to herself.

"I can have it? Thank you..." though she thought it was just randomly there by coincidence...

"I will remember you, although, you might not to me, but... i.. to you..." She gave a small smile and turned quickly and ran back to where she came from holding onto the box. After she snuck back, Tierra pretended to stand up from her tea table.

"Ah! Young Miss, there you are! Though i thought I checked here..., anyways the Master has called for you."

"Ah! What happened to you?!" He kept talking.

Tierra just held up her hand and sighed.

"I was just taking a walk and tripped onto the grass resulting in my dirty hands and dress, while I accidentally scraped my arm on the table edge." She stated.

But he knew there was more to it than that, since she didn't mention any part of her dress bring ripped, and the bloodied dress, that was much more bloody, that it can't be from a minor arm injury.

But he didn't inquire anyway.

"Let me get cleaned up quickly and I'll be in my way." Tierra promised.

He quickly nodded.

"Yes, I will inform master right away."

She walked back to her room, and before she got herself clean, she opened the box. There sat a shiny silver pin, of a simple wolf head. A coincidence... ehh? A smile crept onto my face, i..... Will remember you.

End Of Flashback -Present Day-

Hehe... i almist forgot, but I still remember you...

Did you get all better? I hope your doing better than I am anyways.

She opened the box for the first time after those 2 years. And took the pin into her hands, and clenched onto it, before she let go, and quickly hooked it into her cloak. She was now ready to go...

Welp, here goes nothing..

Injured Wolf: I can't see... my vision is so blurry, who is she? She smells nice though I can't see her clearly.. What is this.... a stick, moss, and a handkerchief??? What is this gonna do to help??? Oh well, let's just trust her for now.

Her blurry figure left after she took the wolf pin I had with me.

I'll see you soon enough, I thought.
