Dan's POV

I walked towards Phil's room and knocked on the doors. I waited a couple of seconds before Mrs. Lester opened the door.

"Hello Dan, came here to visit Phil?"

"Yes Mrs. Lester, is he awake?"

"I'm afraid not dear, but you can come in if you want." She opened the wider and I went in.

"We're going off now Dan, take care of Phil for us dear!" Mrs. Lester implied walking out with Mr. Lester. I waved them good bye and looked back at Phil.

Phil looks so cute, I wish he isn't in this horrible state; he deserves better. I sat down next to him and held his hand, it felt so soft and my hands perfectly fit his. I smiled down at him.

"Hey bud, how have you been? Hehehe... I hope you feel better, I miss you Phil, I wish I spent more time with you."

"I'm asleep, I'm not dead Dan." I almost fell of the chair but somehow found my balance. I looked down to see Phil smiling. God he is an angel.

"Sorry I woke you up Phil, I'll just be off now."

"Wait!" I felt Phils hand grab my wrist. "Can...can you stay a bit longer?" I smiled and nodded. I sat back down next to him and held his hand. I ended up falling back to sleep holding Phil's hand in mine.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder disturbing my sweet sleep. I swatted whoever it was and tried to go back to sleep.

"Dan, I think your dad is calling you." I heard someone call out to me. I slowly opened my eyes and turned towards the sound if the voice. It was Maggie.

"Oh hey Mag, where is he?" I stood up, noticing my hand us still  on Phil's.

"He is at the waiting room, sorry for disturbing you by the way." Maggie rubs the back of her neck.

"It's fine Mag, can you do me a favor and wait for me here?" I asked her.

"Of course, is Phil still asleep?" I looked over at Phil.

"He looks to be asleep, I'll be off now Maggie see yuh!" I walked out of the room and went straight for the waiting room. As I walked in, I saw dad sitting half asleep holding his breif case. I smiled and sat next to him, I shook gently trying to wake him.

"Dad, wake up." Dad opened his eyes slowly and looked towards my direction.

"Daniel, the school called me saying that you weren't in school. I told them that you were sick and had to rest, I figured I would find you here since you didn't go home last night." He glared at me.

"Ye sorry about that, I was suppose to tell you and mom but, I may or may not have fallen asleep." I chuckled.

"Look at you, just like your mother, do you wanna go home now or do you wanna stay longer?" God dad is so cool.

"I think I might go home, I'll just go and inform my friends then I'll go." Dad nodded and said he will wait for me, I stood up and walked back to Phil's room. I was about to open the door when I heard someone talking, I got curious. I placed my ear against the door, I heard Maggie and Phil talking but it was not that clear what exactly the topic was.

"Phil, I can't tell you and you know it." She sounds as if she was scared.

"Maggie it's fine, I won't pressure you, but that flame in you're hand is worrying me." Phil stated. Maggies hand is what?!!
