Koda's POV

I practically bolted into my house and to my parents room, bursting in to see them talking in hushed whispers on the bed. They stopped talking when they heard me come in and turned to see me.

"Koda, dear. How was school?" Mum smiles.

"It was good. I met a friend, his name's Noah, can he come over? He said he needed to explain everything about school." I say.

"Of course, pup. As long as his parents are ok with it."

Just then Ryker stumbles through the door, looking out of breath.

"Your daughter... is scary." He pants.

My parents look surprised and mum looks like she's going to cry. "You found her?" She whispers.

I nodded slowly and my mum covered her mouth with her hand as she leapt over the bed towards us, pulling us both into a tight hug.

I hugged her back as she started sobbing and whispering about how 'I've missed her so much' and 'thought I would never see her again'.

When she eventually pulled back dad came over and rubbed her back, soothing her.

"How is she? My pup. How is she?" Mum more demands than asks.

"We have all our classes with her. Except maths. She's terrifying. Even I wanted to submit! Noah saw what happened at lunch, Ryker will explain to you, but when Noah comes over he said he was going to explain every little detail about her to me as well." I said. "I'm going to invite him over now."

I left Ryker to explain what happened at lunch as I pulled out my phone to text my new friend.

'Hey Noah, come over today! You need to explain EVERYTHING to me!'

I send it and he soon replies back with
'Hey Koda, sure! I'll just track ur phone to get you your house if that's ok! Be there soon."

{time skip to when Noah is there}

When Noah got here we went up to my room, Ryker following. Sam said he found a bunch of friends so we probably won't see him for a while. He's a good friend of mine and I am slightly disappointed that we won't be able to see him much, but at least he has friends his age that are in his classes.

Ryker sat next to me at the top of the bed and Noah sat opposite at the foot of it.

"So, explain how the school works first." I say. He nods.

"Well, the more... popular, I guess, kids go outside to this little area where they all mess around. They're not all classed as popular though, some just like going there to mess around with everyone else.

Only S1 though. Every year has their own way of school life. This is the first years one. The basic rules are:
We don't grass on each other
We don't get other years involved
And we definitely don't annoy, irritate, ridicule or 'get to know' Holly.

She's known around the first years as the sort of boss. She makes the rules. We play by them. Any questions so far?" He asks.

"Yeah, actually" I start "Why is Holly so scary?"

"No ones completely sure, she just intimidates the crap out of everyone. You're lucky if you're friends with her let alone if you're in her close circle."

"Who's in her close circle?" Ryker asks.

"That's Nathan, Sasha and Harper. Nathan is the only boy she's ever gotten that close with, they've been friends since primary, he is currently dating Harper and says that Holly helped him to go out with her. Holly and Nathan are practically inseparable, very close. Don't get on the wrong side of either, Holly will be after your blood.
