I'm a What? {DISCONTINUED}

"Alright, what's wrong?" I ask.

"They're not your family." She says, sitting down and looking at me with worry clear in her eyes.

"What?!" I ask.

"Let me explain..."

Continued:

Holly's wolfs POV

I look at my human before closing my eyes, taking a deep breath. I open my orange-gold eyes and start.

"They came in and I didn't smell werewolf. I smelled human. And not only that, I smelled wolfsbane and silver..."

"And? It's not like that stuff actually does anything, that's a myth... right?" Holly asks.

"No, not for normal werewolves. For normal werewolves, silver is deadly if it hits a certain place, and wolfsbane is a deadly poison that can kill you, but in gas form, it can cut you off from your wolf so it's like you're a human. But for us, it only causes very minor injuries that heal as fast as a normal cut.

But, even though it can't harm us, there's something wrong with this. Let me think for a while, I'll tell you if I think of anything." She says before blocking me out. I sit in silence for a minute before looking at my dogs, Bear and Bandit, who were lying on either side of me.

I then noticed our little audience. There were three deer in front of us, a few rabbits, some birds and a fox or two. I jumped slightly seeing them all there, before remembering that my calming aura probably brought them here.

I started to feel a dull throb at the top of my head, and new my ears were about to come out.

"Tell me if anyone's coming." I say, for some reason thinking these animals will trust me, and let my ears, tail and the rest of it out.

My eyes burn for a second, but just as quick as the pain came, it was gone. I knew that was from my eyes changing colour, I had to put contacts in when I found out they looked different. They were more... orange? No, not quite orange, it was the colour of fire, but I wouldn't say it was orange.

The forest animals seemed to wince when my ears and tail came out, probably because I look like a predator.

I lay back against the huge pine tree, with my clawed hands behind my head and daydreamed about running through the woods in wolf form with all the creatures running behind me for about half an hour.

I suddenly jerked up as the animals started making noise and ran away. I quickly retracted my ears and tail and went back to looking like a normal girl, as two men came into the clearing. They were holding hunting rifles and wearing camouflage army-like outfits.

I narrowed my eyes at them and they jumped a little in shock at seeing me here with the two dogs by my side.

With my werewolf hearing, I heard Bandit and Bear growling quietly.

"Hello, miss." The brown haired man said.

The other guy, who was bald, just nodded his head and stayed quiet.

"Hi." I said, still wary.

"What brings you out here, shouldn't you be at home?" The Brown-haired one asks.

I mentally rolled my eyes. "I'm walking my dogs." I said, glaring at him. I didn't trust them.

"You haven't eh- happened to see any wild animals around, have you?" He asked.

"Why?" My glare hardened.

"Umm, we need to.... check, to um, see if they're all... healthy!" He said, clearly lying. I knew I couldn't trust them. My wolf started growling not only at the fact they wanted to hunt the animals here, but also because he had the audacity to lie to us.

"There are no animals in this forest. When dog walkers started coming here, they all left. The only deer here are owned by the land owners." I said. I always knew I was a good lier, and decided to put that talent to use.

He looked shocked for a moment, the bald man just looked angry.

"B-but... never mind. Thank you, miss. We'll be going now." He sighed, looking annoyed and quite defeated. I heard a slight accent, and assumed he came a long way to Scotland to hunt these animals, just to find they've 'left'.

I smirked to myself and decided to start heading 'home'.

I am genuinely sorry for such a short chapter in this amount of time, it's the summer holidays and I've been out a lot so I haven't had much time to update. If anything, I update more when school's on. My cousin hasn't been sending chapters either, because she's been away to Spain for four weeks (lucky b*tch). But she's back soon. (She left after a week of the holidays so she'll have two weeks in total here for the holidays :P) anyways, hope you guys are liking the story so far, luv yas ❤️🐺
