37: Surprise

*two months*

"Are you sure you don't want to know the gender of the baby," Dr. Marten asked.

She had been wanting to tell me for a while now, but I keep turning her down.

"I'm sure. I don't want to find out until the father does," I smiled placing my hands on my belly.

My bump was quite prominent. It was pretty obvious I was pregnant now.

"Okay, well I'm scheduling your next appointment for next Friday, you have mentioned he was going to be visiting soon," she smiled.

I nodded.

"Yes, him and his band mates are all going to hang out her for a little bit. They should call me any day now," I beamed.

I was extremely excited. It was the first time I would see the guys in like five months. I was also incredibly nervous about the whole baby situation.

"Okay, well I hope you all have fun, and you can go sign out," she said with a warming smile.

I left the hospital and went straight home. It was beautiful out today, it was sunny with a nice breeze, just perfect.

I walked into my room and went on twitter. I didn't have work today because of my appointment, so I just got to relax today.

I was scrolling through some tweets when something caught my eye.

Ashton5SOS: LA is just lovely. Can't wait to surprise a friend:)

He couldn't possibly be talking about me. I got up and walked over to my window just because I was paranoid.

Luckily I did because there in my drive way were four very familiar faces. This can't possibly be a good thing.

I started pacing my room. What am I going to do? I'm not ready for this! I thought they would have called! How the hell did they find my house?

I stopped dead in my tracks when the door opened, there was a bunch of laughter coming from the boys who just walked into my room. My back was turned so no one got a glimpse of my little secret.

"Emma!" Someone yelled who I'm assuming was Ashton.

"Guys, I need to talks to Luke. Alone," I said all to seriously.

It got silent. I didn't even say hi.

"Umm, yeah okay," Ashton said awkwardly. I guess Mikey and Cal walked out with him as we'll because Luke came and put his hand on my shoulder.

"What's wrong," he asked.

I sighed.

"Luke we really need to talk," I said putting emphasis on really.

"O-okay," he said worried.

I took a deep breath.

"I've been keeping this from you for so long because I was worried about how you'd react, but you need to know," I started.

"I can't keep this a secret much longer," I sighed.

"Emma, what are you saying," he said with fear and almost what seemed to be anger in his voice.

I took another shaky breath and turned around revealing my baby belly.

"Surprise," I half smiled.
