Chapter 4

{Millie}

We were in Zuzanna's room in sweat pants and pyjama shirts, I was doing her make up for her 'not date,' with Bucky. I was so proud of Bucky for asking out the girl he liked, he's been my next door-neighbour since I was like 5, we're like a family, it's nice.
"Jenna is so into Steve. She's laying down at his feet" Zuzanna giggled, making me roll my eyes.
"Steve's so oblivious though and he doesn't like her anyway," I mumble, filling in her eyebrows.
"How do you know?" My new found friend asked, confused.
"It's obvious, the way he scrunches up his nose and completely ignores her when she hangs out with them," I said, it was so obvious, I can't believe she hadn't noticed.
"You pay too much attention to him" Zuzanna giggled.
"Do not" I huffed, doing her concealer, covering the dark circles under her eyes.
"Petey's friends with the Avengers so Steve's always at our house and he always tries to talk to me. I hate," I grumble, using highlighter.
"Uh huh," Zuzanna giggled "If I'm being honest it sounds like you like Steve," she teased, winking at me. I smacked her arm making her whine.
"I don't," I grumble, turning the music up slightly, doing her mascara and eye liner. I heard a good song come on so I turned up the radio. Zuzanna started dancing which made me doing her make up harder, eventually I gave up and we started dancing around her room, horrendously singing along, thankfully no one was home, giggling as we went along. When the song was over we were in heaps of laughter next to her window, that's when I noticed boys looking out Peter's bedroom window. My eyes widened as I identified Clint, Tony and Thor watching us, laughing. We both yelled some colourful words and yanked the curtains shut. Zuzanna turned to me and shook her head.
"Creeps," she grumbled making me giggle. I stood up and walked over to her wardrobe, trying to find something cute for her to wear. I decided on a pale pink cropped t-shirt with an alien in the top left corner, black skinny jeans with rips on the knees as well as some superstar trainers. I smiled at her look and held my hands together.
"Beautiful," I grinned at her.
"It will make Buck fall more," she decided, patting her head. I stood up and gathered up myself.
"Ok so good luck, love you, you'll be fine," I said, walking out her room to the front door, Zuzanna short on my heels.

"Bye Zu," I smiled, hugging her before walking to my house, preparing to see all the Avengers.

I watched as Millie walked away. Then suddenly Bucky jumped out of nowhere 'Bucky what the heck!'  'Sorry didn't mean to scare you..'
'It's ok' I said whilst closing the door. I walked up to his car 'Bucky were are we going?'
'You'll see' with a smirk on his face. I couldn't wait until we got there.(BTW we canceled the plans to go to the cafe) We got into his car and drive to the place I was texting Millie on the way telling her how the 'not date' was going.

Bucky stopped at the cinema. 'Buckyyy what are we seeing?' I said excited 'You'll see' he was quite mysterious about it. 'Bucky just tell me. I'll keep asking!' 'I know I'm still not telling you though.' He playfully punched me in the arm.

He approached the front desk 'hi could I get 2 tickets for pitch perfect 3, a large popcorn and 2 Coca-Cola's. Thank you ' When the guy at the front desk passed us all the stuff we ordered Bucky looked at me he thought I didn't notice. I blushed slightly ,when we came into the cinema room we sat down and watched the movie. In the middle of it Bucky did what every guy does pretends to yawn and puts his arm behind you Yeah that thing.

When the movie ended we walked out I had started raining when we left and guess who forgot a jacket. When we walked out Bucky gave me his jacket we didn't kiss like In those romantic movies. He drove me back home to be honest I was talking about the movie the whole car journey. I was surprised that he didn't look annoyed or anything. Actually he was talking about it too and being very enthusiastic. We arrived at my house he walked me to my front door I gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek. 'Bye Bucky' 'Bye' he said calmly and guess who came to the door Nat of all people. 'Bucky I would advise you to run!' I said. 'What do think your doing baby cousin?' 'Nothing' I said whilst walking into the house.
