Chapter 2

(Millie)

I grabbed my bag as I got out my aunt's car.
"By May, love you," I said, sticking my headphones in, walking into the school. Peter was walking next to me.
"Sisss?" He whined gently. I rolled my eyes and kept walking.
"Don't ignore me!" He huffed.
"I don't know you," I sang gently, doing a full 360 turn, grinning at him when I saw him. I wandered to my locker, unlocking it, taking my books. My locker was in between James 'Bucky' Barnes and Steve Rogers. I was sorta friends with Bucky, we'd talk occasionally and he wasn't mean or anything and I just haven't ever talked to Steve since our first year. I walked out the side door that was next to my locker block. The door led to the courtyard. It's where everyone hung out but also where you could get to classes. Our school was built differently from others. When you first enter you're in the main building. No classes are in there but it has lockers, offices, pupil support and the library. The other buildings are where you have your classes.

I took a seat on a bench in the corner of the courtyard. I brought my book out and pretended to read when I was really looking at everyone else. I've mentioned my schoolmates but not properly introduced them. There are 3 main ones and everyone else isn't important so we have 'The Agents,'. There's two types of them, the computer nerds and the jocks. Then there's 'HYDRA,'. They're your misfits, the people that don't turn up for class, I'm pretty sure they'll grow up and be in a gang. And finally 'The Avengers,', the most popular people in the school. They're all amazing people. Everyone loves to hate them. My little brother hangs out with them but he isn't properly one. The Avengers consist of Thor, he's good looking but there ain't much up there. Then there's Sam, the class clown and Clint, he's nice and sweet then there's his best friend, Nat, she's a bad ass. We also have Bruce, who is a genius, he just has a bit of a temper issue. We have Wanda, she moved here a few years ago, she's dating Vision. Then there's Tony and his best friend Rhodey. And finally, Steve, the purest person in the world. God how I hate them all.

I woke up to my alarm going off I slowly slid out of bed and went downstairs for breakfast.I turned the corner to find myself tripping over boxes to get to the kitchen. I tripped over something else but it wasn't a box I looked around for the light switch when I finally found it I looked down it was a photo of dad. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I put the picture down and tried not to think about it.

After I got ready and had breakfast I packed my bag and started heading outside."Bye mum!"

"Bye honey have a good day!"

A couple of minutes later I arrived at S.H.I.E.L.D high I saw Nat waving at me. I quickly paced myself towards her. "Hey baby cousin"

"Hey Nat and I'm not a baby anymore"

"You will always be MY baby cousin"

Nat turned to look at the group

"Now let's get this clear if someone tries to hit my little cousin up I will crush every little bone in your body now am I clear!?"

Everyone looked at Nat in shock and agreed to never " hit me up", Not to lie I was blushing a little bit.

After the bell rang I went to the office to check in

"Hi I'm new here my name is Zuzanna Kate"

"Okay wait a minute"

She said something on the school radio I couldn't quite hear it was muffled a couple minutes went by and then I saw Millie the girl I bumped into.

"Hi I guess i'm  gonna show you around"

"Okay thanks I guess." I mumbled under my breath

She showed me around and I couldn't be more excited to meet more new people.
