Chapter 5

(Millie)

I woke up and made my way down to the kitchen, my hair pulled up into a messy bun, I pulled my shorts down a bit and pulled my 5SOS shirt up a bit. I made sure to be extra quiet because Peter's friends stayed over last night and they were all asleep in the living room, I didn't want to wake them.
"Looking good," Someone said from behind me. I spun around and rolled my eyes, seeing Tony leaning against the door to the living room. I sipped on the coffee I made myself, feeling myself wake up.
"You were up so late last night," Tony chuckled.
"No, I wasn't," I pouted. Tony chuckled and nods.
"You were. Me and Clint heard you clap along to the Friends theme tune every 20 minutes," Tony teased.
"Fuck off, you perv," I whined.
"How am I a perv?" He laughed.
"I saw you film me and Zuzu yesterday," I said, yawning mid-sentence. Tony rolled his eyes and walked to the coffee machine, pouring himself a mug. I stood up and walked to my room, glancing into the living, quickly looking away when I saw a shirtless Steve, a blush prominent on my cheeks. I curled up on my bed and watched Love Island.

After a few hours, I hadn't moved from my spot on the bed, I was still curled up, watching reality shows on my laptop. The boys were out in our garden having a kick about, you can hear them from my room. When I stood up to get snacks and refill my coffee the doorbell went so instead of getting snacks like I wanted I was forced to open the front door. When I did, I instantly wanted to shut it. Will was standing there, he looked down at me amused,
"Hey baby," He chuckled "Looking good," He teased me. I suddenly felt very self-conscious in my pyjamas without any make-up on.
"Don't call me that," was all I could mumble.
"Somebody's tired," He chuckled. I glared up at him.
"What do you want, Will?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"We're going on a date," He smiled happily.
"No, we're not," I said, shaking my head.
"It wasn't a question. We are going on a date," he snapped at her.
"I think I get a say in this. I don't want to go with you," I snapped.
"You are, end of the discussion," He said, gripping onto my arm, it hurt. I tried to push him away but he was stronger.
"Let the lady go," Someone said who I instantly recognized as Steve.
"Why should I," Will snarled, Steve simply punched Will in the face.
"Go home," He told Will and Will scampered home.
"You're welcome," Steve chuckled.
"I didn't need your help, I had it sorted,"  I said to him, poison in my tone.
"It didn't look like it," Steve said.
"Yeah well I did," I growled at him, glaring up at Steve now. God, I hated being short.
"Calm down, I was only trying to be nice," He scoffed.
"Yeah, but you weren't being nice. Being nice is talking to me all the time not just the odd compliment when you're at my house," I snapped at him, I was in a snappy mood.
"Yeah well," Steve started but I stopped him.
"Don't, you're not gonna make it any better, ok. I don't care about you and you don't care about me, let's just leave it at that so you can leave me alone and stay out of my life," I practically yelled, storming off to Zuzanna's. The way I acted may have been over rational but I was pissed off and Steve was pretending like he was my guardian angel but he should know that I don't need one.

"Millie what's wrong?" I said confused she sat down on the sofa and just stared at me.
"Millie, what happened?" I said anxiously. I got up and went to make her something to drink 5 minutes went by and I came back with a cup of hot chocolate and passed it to her.

"Why is he only nice to me when he is at my house? Why can't we talk normally at school? This isn't fair.." she started to wipe the tears coming from her eyes. I hugged her "This isn't fair I love him so much and..." I pulled away from her
"wait here I'll be back" I put love island on and rushed to Bucky's house.

I knocked on the door
" Hey Zuzanna what's up?" he said calmly.
"It's about Millie she loves your best friend and she just told me. She came to my house crying and then blurted that she loves Steve.."
He looked at me blankly I huffed.
"Millie Loves Steve," I said annoyed.
"My lil sis is not allowed to have a boyfriend," he said it quite caringly.
"Bucky she's not a little girl anymore, she really does love him I just need your help you need to find out if he." he interrupted me
"He talks about Millie but he's never mentioned that he liked her in that way and I'll help you with this thing you're trying to do" he winked at me.
I gave him a smile and we walked to my house which was just across the road.

We came through the front door and found Millie was on the couch her eyes fixed on the tv. I turned the tv off and she gave me the death stare.
"Zuzu! It was just getting to the best part! And what is Bucky doing here?" She asked confused.
"We're here to help you with this," I said
"Yeah but first me and Zuzanna are going to your house" he gave me a little nudge
"Sure. You go upstairs and pick out something from my closet" I gave her a little smile and watched as she went upstairs.

Me and Bucky walked to her house we came in the front door, there I saw the avengers
"Look who it is," said Tony "The fresh couple of S.H.I.E.L.D high wait does Nat know about this?" He chuckled
"Cut it out" said Bucky "We've got problem...'
