"Okay, ready?" Oakley asks pulling into the doctors office.

I breathe out almost drowning In my own nerves.

"Now we can at least know how far along you are" she says before parking.

As soon as we step foot into the office my nose is filled with the smell of latex and sanitation.

I scrunch my nose hating the smell of doctors offices.

I walk up to the lady sitting behind the desk. She looks at me and smile before asking me my name.
"Lia bell" I responded trying to not make much eye contact.
"And what are you here for?"

My heart beats as she types quickly in the computer.

"An ultrasound..." I say shamefully.

"Okay miss, the doctor will be right out. You can take a seat in the waiting room" she says pointing to the room with chairs.

Oakley and I walk over and sit down.

"Nervous?" She asks.

"Yeah. I feel sick" I say putting my head in my knees.

A few minutes go by and the door opens.

"Bell?" The doctor asks reading off his clip board.

I stand up feeling light headed. Oakley and I follow the doctor into a room filled with the basic doctor office stuff.

"Ok, I see you're here to confirm a pregnancy and possibly get an ultrasound." He says typing on the computer.

"Yup" I say hating the fact that I was here in this situation.

"Okay let's start off with a few questions"

My stomach gets tighter as he turns his chair so that he's facing me.

"How long do you think you've been pregnant?"

"Umm about a month?" I respond.

"Okay, When did you take you're test?"

"Almost 2 weeks ago?" I say looking at Oakley.

"Do you know who the father is?"

"Yeah I think so" I say knowing that made me sound like a slut.

"Okay last question. If the test is positive you might want to start thinking if you're options for the baby. Wether you keep it or give it up or we abort the preg-"

"No. I'm not Killing my baby." I say cutting him off before he could even finish.

"Okay! Then let's get started with the test" he says.

"So we are gonna go ahead and have you pee in this cup" he says handing me a cup.

He leads the way to the bathroom.

"There you are! When you're done there a metal cabinet you can set it in and we will test it and get results asap"

"Thanks" I say before going into the bathroom.

I open the door into the room where Oakley sat.

I walk over and sit into the table waiting for the doctor to come in.

A few long minute go by and the doctor comes in.

"Okay! The results are in. You tested positive and we estimate your around 2 1/2 months along!"

"Congrats miss bell! I'll give you a few minutes before we take an ultrasound" he says leaving the room.

"2 1/2 months..." Oakley says.

"You need to tell Grayson"

"I know but I'm scared. We don't talk."

"K well you need to start. This is his kid too Lia"

End of chapter. This was short but I did want to point something out and share my opinion.

I know I may get a lot of crap for this but hopefully this doesn't change you're opinion on my book.

In this chapter abortion is mentioned. I do not believe nor support abortion. No matter youre political views In my opinion abortion is wrong. Everyone deserves a shot at life and taking that away from an innocent human especially an infant is wrong and shouldn't be the way a pregnancy is handled. I know there are different circumstances and I believe if you immaturely got pregnant and had sex underage or for fun or whatever the situation may be, you deserve the consequences. There's always better options you can turn too in order to give that baby a better life. I've herd multiple people say well it's just a clump of cells or I'm not ready. First of all, that clump of cells is a human being and you're baby. Secondly, if you don't want a baby then don't have unprotected sex or be mature enough to handle that type of thing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine. I felt that it was necessary to say this. Thanks everyone!!

Alsooooo! I know this is kinda being drug out but things are starting to go down so get ready and hang in there😏
