Every chance I got I snuck my phone out at work to try and get ahold of Lia. But the phone just rang and the texts remained on delivered but she never read them.

I felt terrible. I felt terrible that she probably thinks I have a girlfriend. She's carrying my baby, she's constantly sick or tired. And the last thing I want to do is add stress and hurt her right now.

As soon as work got over I ran to my car. I quickly got in and started my car.

I couldn't think about anything besides getting to Lia.

As soon as I pulled into her driveway I quickly locked my car and knocked on her front door.

There was no answer, I assumed she was either ignoring or she was asleep as it is like 1:30 am.

But I needed her to know the truth even if it means we aren't anything besides two people raising a baby together. But I wanted more. I wanted to have something with her, because she meant something to me.

Still no answer. I wiggled the door knob and to my luck, she left the door unlocked.

"Lia! It's Grayson!" I yell so that I don't scare her.

"Lia! It's Grayson!" A voice yelled.

I thought I was still dreaming until the voice got familiarly louder.

I stood up and walked over to my bedroom door opening it.

I was still pissed. Seeing him made me want to scream.

"Why wouldn't he tell me?"

"No Grayson. I told you that I wasn't gonna do this with you. You're just the boy who happens to be the be father of my baby girl. And nothing more, so let's keep it that way" I said angrily.

"No lia, let me explain" he pleaded.

"No! And if you want to be apart of her life, I recommend you leaving now before you make this Worse" at this point my blood was boiling.

"Go! Why are you still here?!" I said.

"Okay, Okay. I'll leave only because being apart of her life is the most important thing to me. But I want you to know that I'm not playing you. I feel something for you." He said leaving.

Hearing those words kind of made my heart hurt.

I followed him out and locked the door. But I also watched him. He walked out to his car with his head held low. He got in and slammed the steering wheel out of anger. He put his head on the steering wheel.

I felt kind of bad. Was I over reacting? Or maybe I just need a break.

That idea sounded perfect. I needed to get away.

I picked up my phone and instantly scrolled looking for Avery's contact.

The phone rang for about 20 seconds before I hear her answer. "Lia, is everything ok? It's almost 2am" she said.

"Well not everything, I need a break. Wanna go see my grandma with me? I need to get out of here" I explained.

"Yeah, yes! Let's go! When?" She said excitedly.

"Tomorrow, lll book early morning flights. Be at my house by 6 am ready to go" I said opening my lap top.

"Okay!! I'll be ready!!" She said hanging the phone up.

This is gonna be fun. And my grandma hasn't been able to see my pregnant belly.

My grandmas lived in Florida her entire life. Actually my parents met there, and Avery and I've gone to visit her twice now.
