•Ethan's pov•
"Grayson's hurt!" She screamed.
My heart instantly stopped. It felt like it hit the floor.
"What happened?" I frantically yelled.
"Just hurry up Ethan!" Lia cried.
The phone hung up and I tossed it to the side. I sprinted out of bed grabbing the closets pair of clothing I saw.
I quickly slipped on the grey sweatpants and blue tank top.
I grabbed my slides and sprinted down the stairs.
I ran straight to the front door and out to my car. Not caring about anything besides getting to Grayson. I sped down the driveway and out of the neighborhood.
The hospital was about 10 minutes from our house. I tried to keep it together. Not thinking of the worse.
My mind was almost blank. Except for I continued to play Lias crying and screaming telling me that he was hurt. It was heart wrenching and gave me an automatic stomach ache.
As I pulled up to the hospital my heart raced faster and faster.
I turned my car off and ripped the keys out of the engine. I just wanted to get to Grayson.
I got out of the car and instantly started sprinting to the front doors.
In big red letters it read "emergency" I continued through the doors until I got to the front desk.
That's when I saw it. Lia sat on the floor crying. With her head in her hands she sobbed.
"Lia!!" I yelled as I quickly walked to her almost out of breathe.
She looked up at me. Her eyes were blood red. She had mascara running down her face. And the look her face held told me everything. It's not going to be good.
She stood up looking at me.
"They won't let me in" She cried.
I wrapped my arms around her trying to do my best to comfort her. This much stress and fear can't be good for the baby.
I did my best to calm her down.
"Ethan I can't lose him" she said quietly.
"I know. And you won't" I said. Not positive of what I just said. But it felt right to say it in the moment.
A doctor quickly ran through the medal doors.
As soon as she saw Lia she got closer to us.
"We are gonna need to transfer him to an actual hospital where they will Perform an emergency surgery. But they don't have long. So we will be life flighting him"
"Oh my gosh!!" Lia cried.
"Ma'm we need you and who ever else who has relation to the patient to meet us at the hospital" the doctor explained.
Lia and I instantly booked it to my car.
I drove extremely fast. The helicopter was above us.
It's bad. Something is really bad. A few seconds pass and the helicopter is no longer in sight.
As soon as we got to the hospital we quickly got into the waiting room.
"Shit!" I sighed as I realized I haven't told anyone yet. I needed to call my parents.
This wasn't a call I've ever been interested in making. I've never had the want to call my parents and tell me that Grayson is hurt. Never. But here I am telling my parents that he's hurt. More then hurt.
