The next morning I woke up feeling a little better. Even though everything still wasn't right I had more confidence that I'd be able to get through it. With or without Grayson.
But deep down. I wanted it to be with him.
I sat up rubbing my eyes and throwing my hair up into a ponytail.
As soon as my feet touched the cold floor I stood up and started walking down stairs trying not to wake Avery.
I quietly walked down the stairs until I herd people talking.
As I walked around the corner my family all turned looking at me, "never thought you'd wake up!" My grandma says.
I smiled at her giving her a hug before turning to Avery.
"I thought you were still asleep" I said even though my voice was still quiet and raspy from just waking up.
"Nope! Been up for about 2 hours now!" She laughed.

As the day went on I continued to think about Grayson. Why can't I get him out of my mind! He has a girlfriend and there's nothing I can do.
I shook the thought out of my head before I made eye contact with Avery.
"You ok?" She mouthed.
"I'll tell you later" I mouthed back.
She nodded her head before continuing what she was doing before.
"Lia there's a surprise for you at the door" my grandma said as her eyes lit up with excitement.
"What?" I said standing up from the table.
"There's a surprise at the door!" My grandma pointed.
I hesitated before I walked slowly over to the door.
I slowly opened the door nervous for what was going to he on the other side of the heavy wooden door.
As soon as I made contact with the figure I instantly screamed basically throwing myself at her in a hug.
"What the hell!!" I laughed.
My whole family laughed as we hugged.
My cousin Ellie and I used to be closer than ever. Ellie, Avery and I were basically triplets. We did everything together before Avery and I's family moved due to building a better business in jersey.
Our parents have been business partners and basically family for as long as I can remember. Which meant Avery and I spent a lot of time together.
"I missed you!!" Ellie squealed as she pulled me into another hug.
Avery and Ellie hugged as I hugged her older brother and parents.
Seeing my family was amazing. It felt good to be back.

The fire crackled as I wrapped a blanket around my body.
Avery Ellie and I sat around the fire and talked about everything we've missed out on.
"Well!! Are you gonna tell me?!" Ellie asked referring to my baby.
"Yeah, I also just wanted your advice on some stuff. The both of you" I said to Avery and Ellie both.
I filled Ellie in on the main and important parts of the story. First the party and then finding out. Then telling Grayson, and meeting his family.
"But then, I found a picture of him and another girl kissing. It fell out of his wallet when he asked me to bring it to him" I explained.
"What!! No way!" She said.
