Thinking fast, Leo did what all leaders would do, what a selfless, protective, older brother would do. He ran as fast as he could, while Mikey was beginning to lose consciousness. His eyes began to close slowly. Time seemed to slow down. He could hear the laser beginning to charge up and feel the heat rising from it, even though it was about two feet from his green freckled face.
But before his eyes fully closed, he heard footsteps. Not a big and heavy footstep like a neutrino, but lighter and faster. He used what energy he had left to move his eyes to the noise was coming from. He saw a flash of a blue mask before he was pushed out of the Neutrino's grasp. He landed on the long soft grass and heard a laser shot. He quickly got up, and turned around, scared at what he might see.
